At some point, there WILL have to be some level of bureaucracy that decides if somebody is going to get the care they need to survive. "Death panel" is obviously a propaganda term to describe such a bureaucracy, but that doesn't mean it won't exist.

Life and death decisions like this will be made by what amounts to a DMV employee. I don't see how stating that fact is controversial.

The profit-based system will always suck.

The govt-run system has a chance of being decent.
