I think a big 'distraction' is the obsession people have with sex and anything to do with it .you can get someone to forget all about something that is actually/truly evil by simply flashing a couple of boobs or talking about where someone parks their dick at night..this trick works every time...real evil walks right in front of you and you don't see it because all the evil has to do is point at a girl with big boobs and say she's a lesbian and you attack the girl instead.
