Nothing like Mitchels mausers! They take rcs, destroy original markings to make a fraud gun they call original matching! Destroy the finish and add a deaths head sometimes and there you have it! A polished turd!

Atleast it shoots good, personally its an inslt to k98 collectors when you buy from them. your overpaying way to much.

mitchells mausers are real mausers. They are just yugo barrel and reciever and the rest is all new on the gun

Yeah, it was 450 dollars but well worth it. Lots of power and extremely accurate not to mention it is a piece of history.

I got mine at the Outdoorsman, it is a small gun shop in Fargo. They are becoming an increasingly popular gun, pretty sure that you could find one at your local gun store.

It is still a mauser k98, I would not be using it if it were 100% authentic. The only thing that is not blued is the bolt and chamber, it is blued on the rest of the gun....but It looks A LOT nicer when it is blued.

There was one that was falling apart that had a blued bolt and chamber for $200...but they said it needed new parts. :(

Oh it is, can't wait to go hunting. We found some .243 shells from other hunters (on this property of a family friend)...but the 8mm Mauser shell seems to pack quite a bit more punch.
