Yasir Naqvi is not a liar. He is one of the best MPPs in Ontario. He is smart, honest, and works his tail off. He cares deeply about the well being of everyone in his riding, and not just in the short term, but in the long term. It is easy to be cynical about politics in general, but when someone good is MPP the least we can do is be a good citizen and only lob fair and honest criticisms at them rather than just "trash talking." Treat politicians badly enough and the good people won't run.
It is an honest criticism to say hes an asshole for being part of a plan to raise hydro rates by 46% in the next five years. families just finished dealing with the worst recession in 70 years... what the fuck?! Further, it is an honest criticism to say it is disingenuous, and a dick move, to dismiss this tax increase by saying you're giving a 10% "substantial discount" on every bill every month (a lie to boot). so yes he is a liberal liar, and soon to be unemployed
