actually Mj learned the moonwalk from a kid on the street and the kid or teenage however old he was taught Michael and Michael never did it until he perfected it they interviewed he boy and put it on t.v.

Actually HairVSWeight, Michael never took the moon walk from MM, he was inspired by MM's Walking in the Wind move. Which if you look it up, is actually nothing like the moonwalk. The truth is, the moonwalk was being done by young break dance groups in America a little before MJ did it. It was known as the backslide.

michael got the moonwalk fron the ghetto kids who he watch outside from his window car or house.. maybe at that time harlem dance was upbeat and mj didnt know if anyone did it he didnt know..but all he did was to innovate it and created more illusions.
