i think it was an excellent idea to document this process as not many people know the lengthy and arduous process in making a djembe in Africa

such skill and precision, all by hand labor. thanks for posting, and thanks to all hard-working african craftsmen. great sound too, gives a feel for the activity of the yard.

i bought one of em off traveling african barge, they have the tool marks aswell
