@0n3m4n4rm33 it is real my friend. . . they took a thompson .45acp sub machine gun and built a plastic frame around it and made a cut down remington 870 pump 12 guage shotgun for the grenade launcher-u can actually still buy the kits(minus the guns....u have to buy those separate) and the gun vasquez has is a german belt fed MG42 in 8mm attached to a camera boom/stabalizer

@DGneoseeker1 Haha, my bad. I *remember* the smartgun sounding authentic, but it has been years and it's obvious now that my memory was quite distorted. The gameplay though, for its time, was awesome.

Buuut the new Nintendo DS Aliens: Infestation game does have the authentic sounds for the pulse rifle and the smartgun. That I can promise you, because I'm currently playing it. Though it loops the same sound clip over and over, so it doesn't sound quite natural. It's also a 2D Metroid-style game.

@DGneoseeker1 Yeah, this is the Colonial Marines game, they just ended up going with a different title. I can safely say that it's awesome, and is the best 2D Aliens game I've ever played. It's got a decent story, lots of characters, exploration, action, etc. You get to use Power Loaders, the APC and all the classic weaponry, and visit quite a few of the movie sets. It's got it all. So if you got a DSi and like oldschool 2D gaming, definitely pick it up.

Goldstein did, however, play a very small role inTerminator 2 as John Conner's foster mother. I'm glad she was not in Predator 2, because it was not very good except for the few massacre scenes.

And Predator 2 did not do justice to Bill Hudson. I'd love to see him transition from Aliens 2 by escaping the infested planet, returning to earth and then helping the predators whack aliens running loose! LOL

Still, Paxton deserves better roles than chasing toranodoes (Twister) or playing a used car salesman (True Lies). The roles he and Goldstein played in Aliens helped make that movie a giant hit. Plus, Hudson's (Paxton) lines were the most memorable!
