I feel like an outcast in my own family... Wanting to follow the call of god and become a nun, but my family doesn't like the thought of their daughter never getting married or having children. They aren't catholic, so they aren't able to see it from my point of view.... So yes, I do feel very much like an outcast.

Today my priest preached about when a leper man fell to his knees and asked "lord, if it is your wish, please make me clean." Jesus, moved with pity, said. "I do wish it. Be made clean." This song reminds me of the leper man. Though he was shunned as an outcast, he bravely put his faith to the test and humbly asked the Lord to heal him. How amazing it that we can come before God and ask for such things, and he grants the wishes of our hearts?

I totally agree! I didn't understand the whole concept of the movie when I was a child. When I watched it again recently, I appreciated the movie even more than I did as a child. Good times :)
