Though, throwing away thousands of years of Japanese customs, because of a nearly found environmentalism of whales, in the last half century.. makes me wonder... i mean, theres a place called Eden town in the southern coast of NSW, they hunted whales.. till near extinction. hyprocrisy, or am i idiot, who just doesnt get the trends..

I would love to try some whale meat. I want to see if it is as tasty as the anti whalers say( I mean, they keep saying they are being hunted to extinction, so it must taste damn good for there to be that much demand). I don't think of them as beef of the sea, I think of them as deer of the sea(wild game that should be carefully controlled, and consumed, through proper herd management).

I totally agree with you. The thing is that some less gifted people think the opposite, that whaling is totally okey. A rather usual argument is "Well if you kill cows, you might aswell kill whales".
