Explain to me "GOD DAMN AMERICA" as being patrotic. Wright is old enough that he should have been involved with Civil Rights movement and Martin Luther King. Where was he when it really counted? He grew up in an upper middle class Chicago neighborhood, and knows nothing of the discrimination he preaches about.

we must analyze Obama's problems with the Rev. Wright and his emerging problems with former terrorist Bill Ayers. The American people are not about to judge Obama guilty by association, even with a lowlife type like Ayers and an anti-American like Wright. But they will see, in Obama's tentativeness in handling these controversies and his "decency" in refusing to cut off his relationships and condemn these men, a sign of weakness that will hurt his campaign.
I think you should do a bit of research on WHO wright really is.
He ditched his medical studies to volunteer for the marines in 61. Was a top notch marine medic for 6 years.
Calling Wright unpatriotic is ridiculous.
I have to admit he's a pissed-off black man and talks like one. But you have tu put that in historical context. Wright grew up in a time when blacks were still treated like subhumans.
So go get shot in Iraq before calling wright unpatriotic.
If you want to talk about guilt by association: What about Bush's association with people like Scooter Libby, for example, whose sentence was commuted (by Bush) after FOUR convictions (out of 5)-including obstruction of justice and (basically) treason for leaking classified information which led to the compromised identity of a CIA agent.
What's the point of laws when your friend, the president, gives you a get out of jail free card?
"Why are we in Iraq? What do we want to achieve?" One problem always leads to another, so when we went in to get saddam, it led to us building some kind of working government there. going after bin laden has us fighting terrosism all over the place. hillary is pointing out the insanity of looking for a reason to leave when everything we cant see reasoning at all, which i find to be a good point in itself, rather than asking questions the general doesnt know the answer to.

The problem with Obama is that he doesnt believe in UFOs and its technologies. So he cant handle the position of being the president of the United States. Those advances technologies would help the entire world to fix almost all its problems. He is way not smart anough for the job.
Hillary nailed it by pointing out to the Ambassador that the treaty needs to be reviewed by Congress. She was clearly well-prepared. It's too bad she grand-standed in her opening statement.
Obama was low-key in his questions, seeking information; she was more focused on pointing out that the surge is failing and the Gen and the Amb. were wrong about it (too bad she was wrong about the war in the first place).
She's a good senator, obviously; Obama's just a better presidential candidate.
Iraq won't work as a unified country. It only stood together under represive rule such as Saddam's. The Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds hate each other for good reasons. A history of genocide, civil war. THE ANSWER IS NOT A UNIFIED IRAQUI ARMY. ITS NOT A UNIFIED IRAQ. IT'S SPLITTING THE COUNTRY INTO THREE. The Kurds have had their de-facto state for a long time, with their own army, and government. So should the Sunnis and Shiites. Iran has seen this comming right from the start. USA wake up-
Wow, she really doesn't get to the point. Wants to see the agreement, wants a list of factors, complains about Basra (yea we know Maliki was playing his own game, just say it), this and that. Is she a bureaucrat? Petraeus nailed it when he said it's not a mathematical formula. HRC really lacks the grasp of substance. I could hardly listen to this cryptic "discourse". Also painfully passive. No initiative or active proposals from her side. Except for that she "urges" him to show the agreement.
Well, it's necessary that someone be more incisive in demanding deatails and accountability, but I get what you're saying. OBama's and Clinton's approaches during questioning says a lot about them. Obama looks for solutions and his questions seek a basis for policy-making and problem-solving while Clinton is well prepared, analytical but favors pointing out flaws without a coherent approach for correcting them. I like that she asks better questions now than when she ok'd the war, though.
Obama in his questioning was clearly focused on the core issue: Why are we in Iraq? What do we want to achieve? HRC's questioning also kind of revolved around that question, but her approach was cautious and passive, and she got caught up in details. Obama on the other hand pressed the issue forcefully, interrupted Crocker and Petraeus when they got sidetracked and he made it a point to lower the bar. 'Messy sloppy status quo' is a provocative tagline that reinforces the urgency of getting out.
He is clearly better equipped to lead. I think that's where we basically agree. When he asked them to 'harden the metrics' it was more of a demand rather than an analytical question. He challenged them to get on board and come up with solutions rather than just ask their opinions. His approach was more involved and he was able to create a clearer vision of where we're headed and in particular, where HE wants us to head. I would trust him to get us out of that mess in Iraq ten times over HRC.
Obama should make her Secretary of Defense in his Administration.
She has shown how steady she is in a war zone: barely flinching as sniper fire, she says, whistled around her and Chelsey. And she's up at 3 a.m. to take that call about "something happening" anyway. And the troops, they just...eh...love her!
On second thought, maybe if she's out of a job after her Senate term is up, she could stay home for a change and Bill won't have to spend so much on hookers.
Listen at 2:05-I know it's the kind of sound you make before you make a point, like an "uhh", but it sounded funny.
I'm an Obama supporter, but Hillary did very well here. She does well when she shows her intelligence, and I think she should do that more on the campaign trail instead of being so much of a William Jennings Bryan populist
Finally, after almost a year, a Hillary Clinton I like to see. Hillary Clinton as a Democrat. She needs to get back to her day job so the party can move forward.

I believe Hillary as much as I believe Bush. If she's elected, that's 20 years of leadership from two families. Throw them out imo.
