This evening at the FIA European finals at Santa pod he ran 5.88!! he's going to try and back it up for a new record in eliminations tomorrow. i had left by then today because it rained in the afternoon, got home, saw the run on the live web stream! that is apparently now in the top five quickest ever, behind cory hogans 5.84, and McrBrides 5.7s etc..

Yeah read that on Eurodragster yesterday and honestly I expected that this record will be beaten in Santa Pod. He is three tenths of a second faster than anyone else in Europe at the moment. Absolutely amazing.

@DaSchraadz he just wrapped up the championship today. ran a 6.01 in round one, a 6.00 in round 2 ( both runs were early shut offs) and then just ran another 5.96 in the final. not enough to back up the 5.881 for a new record, but as you say, amazing none the less.

Peter Svensson from shot 6.111 straight from the trailer after being absent in Hockenheim for sixteen years.. Peter did a row of 6.0 second runs in Tierp Arena, Sweden earlier this year and was very motivated to do a 5 second pass.

@nederpiet he ran 5.97 the 5.91 @ 236mph at santa pod in 2009 but ithe 5.91 was too fast to be backed up by the 5.97
never before in europe has their been a top fuel bike running so consistantly at record setting pace
