I live in Las Vegas and the cops here suck. They aren't very bright and they do not care about people in general. There are a lot of young girls that come to this town and get turned out by pimps and the pimps make them slaves to the sex trade. Then when the cops do a raid, the girls are treated like criminals instead of victims. So sad. They wont cover this on the news because they don't want to lose the tourism.

If they have no leads they cant investigate, and if there is no investigation they cant find any leads, its an awful situation they and you have to just accept, or find the leads yourself.

Thanks for all the concerns regarding Jessie, the fact is that she was WAY to close to her family to let homelessness get in the way of contacting them. She made calls regularly and even came back to Kamloops BC on occasion to visit. Even in the circumstance she was in then she still managed to call and say 'HI'.
They have found the remains of another missing L.V. girl whom whet missing a year before Jessie. It is a sad reality that people pray on these girls, and I hope Jessie is alive.
Has anyone checked the homeless shelters and methodone clinics? I've read about the Human Trafficking theory and I don't buy it. Las Vegas is a dream-killer to thousands of young people who move their without preparing. I sense that she made some bad choices and ended up homeless, or possibly with a group of people. Drugs and porn are possible. The name Renee is important, but it's coming across as 'Renie', long 'e' sound. A street with a 'F' name is important, like 'Fort' or similiar.
From what I know of Jessie she would not be homeless by her own will.She always kept in touch with her family and knows she could go home whenever.Bottom line is where ever she is,it is believed she is not ok.

Currently they are working with a special task force that deals with Human Trafficing, in other words she is being held against her will and sold to the highest bidder. Yes it happens more than we care to know and they are young children.

He is very un helpful and always has been, claiming to know nothing about her where abouts even though he was the last on eto ever see her. A better assumption would be the black market in which they are looking into. If she is over seas well then it's tough to find anyone there. Well they found a body in Texas who was a Jane Doe for over a year and now they are asking for DNA from Jessie's parents for testing.I dont even know what to say,I hope its not her.

This really bothers me as I believe that there are "men" specifically "set up" (by big money) to lure these young girls into a life they have no intentions of living...but once "inside" there literally is no "getting out" for them...(there are many depraved individuals who have way more money than "morals" and will pay whatever amount it takes to fufill their sick fantasies....

how much money did jessie take out the day she left? i read somewhere she was depressed and wanted to leave vegas, it is a possiblity she was having sex with a guy, emotions got the best of her and she decided she wanted to start a 3rd new life...there has been not one speck of eveidence that she is dead or murdered...its been a year and half...although i think that is well under a 50 percent chance, it is a possibilty...as her mother said, she could be brainwashed

I kinda hope you never have children...It's not that women don't listen. This girls made poor decisions we are not disputing that, but to take another human without their consent and force them into the sex trade business is just wrong, and it isn't just women..most are children,as young as 7 or 8 male and female . She wasn't officially features on AMW because there wasn't enough story but there was a blurbed when they aired the Lindsay Harris ( missing person alert).
Jessie's Story has been on Geraldo and recently Montel Williams. And Atlas is now involved, an organization that deals with Human Trafficing also the FBI and LVPD are working closley with Canada in the search.

He is very un helpful and always has been, claiming to know nothing about her where abouts even though he was the last on eto ever see her. I'msure the LVPD have all but exahusted their efforts the family now has a Private Detective working around the clock and there is constant fundraising efforts on going to support the cost.

Paul1967uk, that would be a nice thought but they have ruled that out since her bank account which had a considerable amount in it, has not been touched for the last year she has been gone. A better assumption would be the black market in which they are looking into. If she is over seas well then it's tough to find anyone there. She was very close to her family and talked to them weekly.
