well see if you are going about 80 mph or more than 80 mph, then cruise it. It might drop down to 30 mpg because you are traveling really fast and all the wind hit your car to make yor car goes slower. So the engine is trying to reach and stay in around 80 mph, which the engine is useing little more gas. Try with 70 mph in cruise control.
I just changed oil and running test today both with straight to work from San mateo to SF(~20m) with cruise control of 70mph average is 30.6mpg. Back same distend with cruise control of 75mph Average still the best 32.1mph. I'm not sure because of the car running up hill or what. But I will have to test it again on Monday this time I will try it opposite way. All I have is time, car and a lot of job to do... haha should like a plans for my day.

The V6 can kick butt. 0-60 in around 6 seconds.

Thank you for correcting me, Yes it is I4 with 2.4L. And I just hit 32mpg on the freeway avg of 74mpg at the rang of 356mi.
But to get 60m it sucks 13mpg. (start test)

I know! it has great gas mileage! My grandpa had this car and he get 34-37 Mpg on highway.
