@rockinroller7 Yah! I know what ya mean. I remember wearing Shirts I got at concerts- AC/DC, Nazereth etc... in high school and it was a uppity school anyway. i was really frowned upon by kids and teachers alike. All i can say is we were right brother. and your right atleast we Got to enjoy it while we were young!
I like this song with other Zombies music, but I can't find an album that captures the Brit invasion qualities. Too many musical styles, although Colin is haunting.
And the drummer is Jim Rodford's son. The guitarist used to play in Curved Air, I think. Saw them at Mohegan Sun in CT in 2005. Also did Keep on Rolling, God Gave R&R2U, lots of old Zombies and solo Colin.
I saw The Zombies at the Belly Up in Ecinitas last year and met Colin in Lous records and he was more than lovely, so down to earth considering he has in my humble opinion, one of the best singing voices from the sixties...and it has sounded that good for 40 years
that's two members from the original Argent band: Rod the man, and Jim Rodford on bass. Plus Colin Blunstone as a perfect replacement for Russ Ballard. Can't go wrong there! And Colin really swings here.
Amen, although those of us that saw Argent on their first U.S. tour became fans for life. I'm a big fan of Rod's solo album "Red House" and the two CD's he's done with Colin in recent years. Rock on Colin and Rod!

Inspirational song for one of a dozen or so, "long hairs," as we were called, going through HS during this time.
Jocks always had a senseless remark.
Funny part is, the jocks went off to college and I joined the infantry (0311) in the Marine Corps.
Home on leave, at a long hair friends house for a party, I suddenly became friends with the then long haired, dope smoking jocks.
I remember the looks on their faces when I reminded them of all the great times they mised in HS.
Peace.

Rod Argent, Still as great as ever. I heard Uriah Heep do a cover of this song and I have to say it's worth checking out.
