  • let us post commet you faggots

  • Nice I got the black one in my rig cant wait to do gtx 460s in sli. :)

  • ok i need some help, after about 4 years my psu died, at least thats what i think, when i tried to power up my comp, nothing happened, so i ordered a new psu and it still didnt work, i RMA'd it as defective, it should come in a few days, if it still doesnt work does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my comp?

  • probably is your psu. You might also check your CPU, and CPU fan. Im pretty positive that if your Processor fan isnt running your computer wont even turn on. Power supply is probably your best bet though. @deathblad13

  • @Twiztidguy thanks for the info, fixed it and the psu was the problem

  • im running two hd 5870's off that (:

    no worries

  • @rhysdalegend how much was it?

  • the cards? or psu?

psu was like 200 brand new (aus dollars) which i got like 45 months ago

and the hd 5870's where $550 each (aus)

  • @rhysdalegend nice i recently got converted to ati i used to only stck with nvidea but the place i got cheap stuff from msy screwed me around saying they don't have shit and i went to somewhere else that where expensive but offered better warantes better support and customer service so i bought a 5850 from them for $469 au bit much but good i'd rather give my money to a place that cares

  • @judoisoww yea true i was the same, as my mate who got me to build a comp sed to stick with nvidia.. i did and bought myself a gtx 285 which died a month later and i recieved a refund which i used for my 5870 (:

  • thx for the imfo, i dont mess with the inside of my pc its just that i have alot running. with the led fans and crap and wasnt sure if it would handle that also =P

  • mine just failed yesterday after 1 year...

  • Very nice getting this one with my next build. :)

  • My dad and I build a gaming system he said that a 500 watt would work fine but i want this power supply right here. Will it burn out my motherboard or somthing if i run this?

  • Honestly, if you don't understand this at all, Than you shouldn't be in that computer. Your dad sounds like a smart guy, if he knows when a 500W PSU will work, so you should ask him. If you really really want to learn, Try Wikipedia. It is actually quite informational. That is where i learned most of my computer stuff.

  • @dushbag38 Trust your dad 500W is enought :)

  • Can someone reply to the guy below me (I'm on my iPod) and say "he means 800, 900, OR 1000" for me?

  • 900 000 watt psu?

  • @cal920c his point is dat its all about amps

  • ocz stealthx is better

  • At least 750 watts.

  • MSI ATI Radeon R4890-T2D1G-OC

    1GB 3996MHz DDR5, 880MHz Core,

AMD Phenom II QuadCore 920, 2.8GHz

    Socket AM2, 45nm, 8MB cache,

how powerful power supply do i need

  • 600w should be more than enough

  • Okey.... i found this on nvidia`s sitefor the GTX 285:

"Maximum Graphics Card Power: 204 W

Minimum System Power Requirement: 550 W"

What does it mean? And can i run 2 GTX285 onThermaltake Toughpower 750W??

  • I got a Thermaltake Toughpower 750W, and im wondering if i can run 2x GTX285 with it?

  • I have a core i7 920 @ 3.2 GHz a GTX 285 & i have an OCZ Power Supply at 700 Watts 2 +12v rail @ 25amps each rail i got confused because of the GTX 285 the EVGA site says i need at least 550 Watts (40 Amps) but the maximum of this is only around 200 watts (based on forums, and reviews) I dont wanna damage my 285 so currently i'm using the 9800GT just in case and i'm not sure if i'm gonna OC the 920 to even further or not if so is my power supply good enough for the i7 920 @ 3.8 and the GTX 285?
  • @ card1100

hello i guess you can run 2 8800 gt with is caus a friend of my runs 2 gtx285 with a powersupply of 750 watt. and your power supply needs to be SLI then to offcours ^^

  • Will this psu ( Length: 9, Width: 11, Depth: 5) work in a

    w x d x h

    178 x 422 x 394 mm case ?

    (HP Pavilion Elite m9400f)

  • is it posible 2 use a computer power supply 2 connect it 2 the xbox 360's Black FAN???

so im wonderin if its posible okay let me no if it can be done and how it can be done.

  • can a 650 watt psu from corsar or pcpower&cooling run a GTs250 or 2 8800 gt's i need the answer thanks

  • yes idk bout the 8800gt's

  • I prefer 120mm fan PSUs. And compared to those, the Silencers are NOT silent. Maybe it was in the past, but there are PSUs which surpass it today. PCP&C should really get past their delusions about 120mm fans and modular cables and move on. I no longer believe what they say about all that.

  • how wide is the 750watt psu??

  • Hey im getting a 550 Watt Is that decent wattage for gaming?

  • about as low as you want to go

  • yea but the new video cards suck up a lot of power i got a 650 watt one and i barely made the requirements with the ATI radeon HD2400 pro lol 450 watt minimum

  • well you got a really crappy 650 psu. who is the manufacturer?

  • Thermaltake

  • i am getting that in a week :D

  • 10dB isn't 6 times less than 60dB, it's logarithmic.

  • would you be able to run 2 9800gtx in sli with this power supply?

  • yea but use 850 watt to be more sure

  • meh.

  • You should be fine. I believe the recommended minimum wattage is 680W for two 9800GTX's.

  • Don't worry even though this PSU is 750W I've heard it can support like up to 850W.

  • lol, I should of waited until this video was over before I asked what other colors this PS comes in.

  • does it come in different colors? lol

  • that psu is inside this pc that i am typing right now :) and it's one of the best components i have ever bought

  • I own one it is great.

  • They're all American?

  • could this handle 2 gtx 260s?

  • I'm sure it could. Probably has enough amperage on the +12v rail to handle two 4870's, so 2 GTX260's will be well within it's range.

  • yes very easy it can handle quad sli

  • yes

  • so this would support 9800 gx2 right?

  • yes

how can u not know if u have such an high end graphics card

  • Im just making sure, i dont want to send anything back :d

  • yes

  • get a better motherboard + ram + cpu fan

  • PC Power & Cooling > Corsair > All

  • PCP&C is top-notch and all, but I swear it's like they don't believe in modular support. Make a high quality PSU, but make our lives a bit more convenient while you're at it... might as well. I can't stress how much more easy it is to route cables through your case and deal with them when you're only using 5 versus however many it takes for a standard PSU.

  • PC Power & Cooling tho are SEASONIC`s inside and seasonics are very very good :)

  • Don`t buy thermaltake power supplies, they are more expensive and have same guts as Chieftec which is CWT manufactory. At this time CWT has best producing process for blue line Chieftec`s CFT-xx0-14C and much cheaper CFT-xx0-14CS (S means SUPER) they are modular and they are same as modecom volcano series (more expensive than chieftecs and same CWT inside)

  • yup 750 watt psu is awsome! I got the Thermal Take version though :D

  • this powersupply looks ugly !

  • they don't make em for looks, they make em for dependability, efficiency

  • it's only power supply so fuck that take a noraml price

  • Said NO to non-Modular

  • is this better than the Corsair TX750 750Watt?

  • it says: 22 Years of Innovation Since 1985. in the info. that is the year 2007, now it's 2008... so... that came out last year? or?

  • maybe they havent updated the into o.O

  • it prolly meant tat the month in which the company started have not past yet

  • Thanks
