  • Well, you see that you have a friend there helping you... The other bully is telling her to shut up / behave... See some Cesar Millan videos, maybe it'll help you on this! It's a shame to see an agressive BT, they're so tender!!!

  • @CigarrinhoJJB Or maybe even contact Cesar Millan for help? :) All bullies deserve to feel calm and safe at all times :)

  • @Yukipuk Definitely, if you have the availability to contact him than it'll be a good decision! hope everything's goes for the best with you guys. Cheers

  • Bring that dog to a bob dylan concert and do the world a favor.

  • i dunno, i would take the guitar out and leave her loose, the more you hold her back the more she wants to go...as soon as she gets mad correct her with a verbal command or a redirection with your foot(not a kick but a shove also wear boots) and show YOU are the boss. It will take a few tries because Bullys are stubborn but she looks smart enuff...Good Luck!

  • My female bull terrier does this to the hoover and the shower when its on she goes completly mental

  • sistabigbones, what do you mean this is not bully behaviour, i've breed bullys for years and you always get one agressive dog in a litter and thats the same has any breed. she is showing people who might be thinking of getting one how it might turn out. you can also tell that this is not a stupid owner, but just needs some help to over come this problem. sistabigbones, try getting yourself a job and dont let me catch you on youtube ever again.

  • This is so funny we have a red and white bull terrier and he dose the same thing with my husbands power drill....LOL Its just like kids... its nice to now we are not the only ones who have this action with stuff they cant understand...LOL

  • My Maltese Puppy Does That Aswell

But He Will NOT Bite Me.He Also Acts The Same Way When I Put On This High Mosquito Tone.I Think The Sound Irritates Dogs. But My Pup Goes Mental Even When I Show Him My Guitar Even Though I Dont Play It.But That High Pitched Sound And Guitar Dosent Bother Him Anymore He Learned The Guitar Is No Threat And He Knows The HIgh Pitched Sound Is Just A Normal Sound Cause I Play It So Often

  • i love how the other dog comes and tells her to calm down... bull terriers great dogs =))))

  • Our BT does the SAME exact thing with canned/compressed air. She is the sweetest thing in the world and usually very mellow... but even the sign of that can sends her into a frenzy!

  • Thats why they say that a powerful breed such as an EBT is not meant for everyone, so dont judge and lable these dogs, because EBT owners should know to have patience, understanding, and a dominant role in their pets life. I have a year and half old male blue nose pittbull terrrier and a 4 and a half month old male EBT and they get along just fine together because we work them out and walk them and constantly love them, and they love eachother just the same.

  • cycobully, Bullterriers don't have any tarnished reputation whatsoever. That would be the Pitbull. And I know because I own a Staffie. But I do agree with the context of your post. These people are idiots. What they are doing is actually telling the dog it's OK to be insecure. No matter what the object is. And letting the other one bark is just compounding the problem. And let's not forget the fact you have lost control of a powerful dog. If he wanted to get away from you, he could.

  • To the untrained eye, this appears to be unhibited aggression. Whilst an educated dog owner knows better, this does nothing to help the already damaged image of this beautiful breed.

Good luck with training Leona, tho I'm sure she'll be just fine :)

  • This dog has (for some reason) associated that acoustic with negative energy, and thus attacks it. How i would apporoach this problem is by encouraging postive behavior when shown that acoustic. I noticed that the other bull terrier was very calm until the other one went off on the guitar, so I would show Leona that the other dog's behavior is correct and give affection to it. Also i would try to associate the guitar with a treat by giving her one when she calms down and goes a submissive state.

  • Thank you for the thoughtful response.

  • My old boss had a Yellow Lab that would bark & get pissed whenever I put on my Flying V and played it at work! LOL

  • I think they have their things to react like that to. Because my ex-girlfriends bully freaked out like that if we started sweeping the floor. But if the sweeper stood still against the wall or something, it didn`t bother her at all. It`s weird, the sweeper was that ONE thing that pissed her off.

  • did she happen to do this after she heard it playing? because the low tone it emits out do irritate them, like if u drum on a culligan 5 gallon, or do you know the "who are you" them song to CSi' it gets my bully rowd up. when i sign along with it, when i go :who are your "who-who--who-who":

  • Our bully reactes strange to umbrella's. We tried to let her get used to it by my girlfriend walking with umbrella and me at the other side of the street but this did not work....only some freigtend looks from people...Thus I will get wet when it rains! For the rest our bully is the sweetest thing ever and I disagree by saying it is better not showing this footage!

  • Huh. That's weird. Is Leona a rescued bully? My aunt has a part-pit bull that she adopted that reacts strangely to a few odd-choice items. <3 Leona's so CUTE, though!

  • How odd. Did you see the recent Dog Whisperer where he dealt with a really similar problem? It was on just a day or so ago.

  • Why on earth would you want to share this type of footage with anyone, this is NOT typical bully behaviour, not funny, and does nothing to promote the breed especially the comment 'and I'm gonna try not to get bitten...', come on, why would would you encourage your dog to be agressive in this way, sad.

  • Sorry, not trying to encourage this behavior but rather document it on the way to changing it. Having rasied and rescued dogs for decades, we know there are traits that need working through.
