  • This is really excelent!! Thank you for uploading!!

  • the last jig is Rory Gallagher, no? It's in Gordon Duncan's tune book. Page 24.

  • OMG dude that is killer!!!! what the jigs called that you did???? can you tell me were i can find the sheet music!!!!!

  • 1:40 onewards ... I love that one :)

  • nice

  • You've got it, man!

  • nice jig were can i get the music for that

  • That's awesome. Where did you learn to play the bagpipes? Also, were did you get your bagpipe? What's the best kind for beginners and where should I get it? (You can probably tell I want to learn to play the pipes).

  • @ffiirrobbiic ask a instrctor or a profetionaL PIPER

  • @ffiirrobbiic To learn I recommend finding a teacher, which can take a bit to get into. As for getting bagpipes you again usually want a teacher to help you because they would know good hook ups with older bag pipes. The wood used for pipes needs to be aged for a long time before it can be played without a chance of cracking, which is why you need older pipes. As a beginner look into getting a practice chanter, which is like the pipes in notes and fingerings just smaller cheaper and easier :D

  • Thank you so much Epeetastic. I've been wanting to learn for a while now. Thanks again.

  • Wonderful tune mate!!!

Haha even some german in there, god you have skill mate.

  • Hej! Riktigt bra spelat, tummen upp! Är du från Sverige och i så fall varifrån? :) Med tanke på ditt nick, svenskpiper, menar jag.

  • Awesome cotr one of my favorite jigs!

I was just wondering why isn't there a ferrule on you blowstik stock?

  • Barbaras jig is in Scots Guards vol 2.

  • beside being out of tune, the performance was very entertainable.

  • *entertaining, if it's entertainable it means that you can entertain that performace. School?

  • soryy

  • look at me, i couldn't even spell that right, urgghh!

  • Grammar > you :)

  • sorry, i meant entertaining

  • your drone is slightly out of tune, no big deal it wasnt distracting at all. Good Job.

  • it's distracting for grade 1 pipers :)

  • The last tune name is Rory Gallager. From Gordon Duncan.

    Excellent piping!

    Saludos desde Uruguay

  • you should record inverness gathering on the pipes, itd be great. ace playing once again, a master of the trade

  • Very well played. Do you go to the Northern Meetings

  • Wow, very nice performance :)

    /Hälsningar från Sverige :)

  • How long have you been playing for?

  • NICELY DONE, you make me feel insignificant as a piper ^_^

  • Hey there!! Nice piping. I sent you an email on this site about how your practice chanter is so cool sounding and I wished to get similar tones out of my chanter.

You said you had some 'secrets' to share about this on another video in the comments section.

    Can you help?

All the best and great piping!!!

  • Nothin like the ol' pipes ta wake up the neighbourhood eh!!! Celtic music forever!

  • Would be awesome to hear you play---welcome the piper, the foxhunt and the red fox

  • ahahhahaa loved the comments in the boxes while you were playing!!! once again, awesum playin!:)

  • Brilliant. I was surprised to learn you live here in California!

I especially like the expression in your face, eyes and the little movements of your head as you play, you seem really into it unlike many pipers who are expressionless as they play. You're one with the pipes, and it comes off great.

  • How long have you been playing?

  • Whoa! how did you do the box with your thoughts!?!?!

    Frigggin cool...

    oh yea, BTW

    You rip on the pipes.

  • Excellent playing as always from you svensk.

Again different names for tunes from different people, as far as i know the last one is Rory Gallacher From Great Gord

but that doesn't really matter only the playing and as i said it was great:D

  • I really enjoyed your nice play with strong fingering. Thank you. Do you use a sheepskin bag with cane drone reeds?

  • yes

  • and so nonchalante....it seems he could do this

    in his sleep...

svensk, have you ever dreamed that you were playin pipes?

    weird question...i know.

    :o)

  • Cracking performance once again Ian are we going to see you playing the B52 and carry on regardless on the pipes?

    Hope so soon

    Gordy
