Seriously. $2,000 for a "Decent" gaming PC?? If you don't have the intellectual know how to make your own computer then your just behind the power curve. Truth of the matter is I spent about $1700 on my latest computer and its sporting 3745mhz Quad core AMD Phenom 1090T processor, 1.5 TB Hard drive, a Radeo HD5970 Video card and 8 gigs 2000mhz DDR3 RAM. Now if my desktop goes down, I can spend a lil bit to replace the parts. Not depend on a 3rd party with do not open warranties.

Console technology is over 7 years old in the PC world as far as speed and graphics go. by the time they come out with brand new consoles in 1-2 years, it would be at least 5 year old technology. They will be going into Crysis graphics while PC would be going into something unimaginable. It's been this way 15 years.

@isaac9517 What do you mean? I'm almost 100% that both consoles run DirectX 9. Which is why both consoles sucked in BF3. The Xbox basically has the same graphics as the PS3 (Xbox 360's is better overall tho) the only reason PS3 can fantastic looking exclusives is because of the cell CPU. In the case of multi-plats. 360 will always be in the lead because of AA. The Ps3 is old software also, hence why I built a PC. My shit will always be upgradable....

The PS3 is actually a very powerful machine and it beats out the 360 in nearly aspect. Both have about a 100W power pull, and I've never had any lag whatsoever on any PS3, perhaps it's your internet? Sony has innovation, and Microsoft needs better consoles. <3 Windows 7 though.

PS3 just isn't as good as Xbox360. Most games, especially games where shadows and textures are concerned look and run better on Xbox360. Just take a look at Crysis 2, Arkham City, Bayonetta, MW3 etc. Sure there are a couple of games that seem to run/look better on the PS3 but except Uncharted 3 (which is an exclusive) there really aren't that many where the PS3 is above. There's good and bad side for both consoles but at the end of the day Xbox360 has a better look,performance,controller&servers

My honest opinion is even though ps3 does have more exclusives now, xbox 360 is overally better... Think of the shared games between the PC and the 360 which don't exist on ps3, think of some multiplattforms running much better on the 360, think of HALO being better than both killzone and resistance while the later are meh... Yes god of war, infamous and uncharted are amazing but xbox has fable, gears and splinter cell... That and the superior online make xbox 360 better for me

PS3 just isn't as good as Xbox360. Most games, especially games where shadows and textures are concerned look and run better on Xbox360. Just take a look at Crysis 2, Arkham City, Bayonetta, MW3 etc. Sure there are a couple of games that seem to run/look better on the PS3 but except Uncharted 3 (which is an exclusive) there really aren't that many where the PS3 is above. There's good and bad side for both consoles but at the end of the day Xbox360 has a better look,performance,controller&servers

Left 4 Dead. Halo. Gears Of War. Rise Of Nightmares. Mass Effect 1. And so on.
PS3 may be free, but it has horrible servers. And it's easy to get hacked.
You may have to pay for Xbox 360, but at least your account is safe and the servers are great.
And you get DLC first.

PSN on the other hand was down for a month, was it? Which made a few dozen PS3 players switch.
Xbox Live wasn't down for that long.

After the PSN was brought back, we got 2 free games for the PS3 and PSP. (I picked LittleBigPlanet...and I actually forgot the other game. And I have the 2 PSP games on a separate memory stick, so I don't remember the games there either.) So although it was down for a month, we got some really cool things.
But I guess opinions are opinions.

My honest opinion is even though ps3 does have more exclusives now, xbox 360 is overally better... Think of the shared games between the PC and the 360 which don't exist on ps3, think of some multiplattforms running much better on the 360, think of HALO being better than both killzone and resistance while the later are meh... Yes god of war, infamous and uncharted are amazing but xbox has fable, gears and splinter cell... That and the superior online make xbox 360 better for me
