ok 1 im american and i play soccer(or "football") and i know all the rules so stop saying all americans are dumb asses...
2. ffsides occurs when the attacking team passes it to a player on their own team who is past the last defendr. in this case, the keeper dropped the ball putting it into play.
3.the ball IS in play because the keeper caught it in the air and got up. no fouls, offsides or any other penlties were called. the keeper put the ball down to kick it n didnt realize the guy ws there
@dippinb217 It's not a "bunch of millionaires playing kid's games". It's a multi-million pound industry that has huge effects on commerce and socioeconomics wherever it's played. It's you who should feel stupid. Not least for mispelling 'stupid'.
@funpotion & @battalionwarsmaster no he wasn't. to be offside a player on your team has to pass the ball to you while you are in the offside position -.- its not hard
its only when the ball is property of the keeper that it cannot be taken (between goalkeepers hand and any other surface or when the keeper is dropping it for a drop kick)
for all your american idiots that dont know the rules of football, first things first, it did count, the game finished 2-1 in the end that goal being the winner, Also, players can do whatever they want when the keeper is "prepairing to shoot" as long as the ball is live the players can do whatever, the only time you cant interfere with the keeper is on a goal kick when the ball is dead and play is inactive, the keeper caught there ball therefore keeping play alive.
@Masterspoonage DAMN AGREEE!!! AND IT ALSO CERTAINLY WASN'T OFFSIDE COZ THE ATTACKING SIDE DIDN'T EVEN PASS THE BALL TO HIM, IT'S THE DEFENDING SIDE WHO GIVE THE BALL, SO IT MUSN'T BE OFFSIDE
@PandaMagicFTW Actually sweetie, this game was played in England, therefore its context is FOOTBALL. if it was in america or canada...it would be called soccer. However. like i said, this game was played in England. therefore making it Football.
@Redfoxxbushcraft You might but alot of people commenting do not, and the only asshole is you, for jumping to conclusions about my comment a year ago. Grow up.

Americans don't watch soccer a.k.a REAL football, like the rest of the world.
Instead, they watch that faggoty NFL American 'football' with tights and helmets, which no one outside America gives a flying fuck to.
