Hey they may have cut the show a bit when it came to pyro and stunts but I felt I got my moneys worth. To see KISS at this stage of their career over 30 years in is enough for me to pay. They played amazingly and had my attention the whole show. They kicked my ass that night like they always do, i'm even ready to pay for an unmasked show if they do one, KISS is KISS makeup or not, great fuckin music and great musicians... Paul, Tommy, Eric, and Gene kick ass
I was at this show and feel we got RIPPED OFF. They charged full ticket, but gave us half the show. I am avid KISS fan and have been since the 70s, but this show was a rip off. I paid extra to get the good seat, I want my money back.
Volume turned down, Gene did not spit blood or Fly, very little pyro, no confetti, and only 16-18 song set list vs the standard 22+ songs
KISS is awesome at full power or toned down! I've been a fan since I first heard them on KA2 in 77 or 78. Been with through the "Elder" days and so on but they still rock!!
First of all..Ive been a KISS freak for over 30 years...used to carry my records to school in my backpack when I was a young lad...had to do the embosed thing with a pencil and paper on the double platnum album.. but what I just seen in that video...thats either age or half hearted.. The cheezy firepod went off at the wrong time....Paul looks back...Ill still be a KISS freak till the day...i just hope no new comers think thats the power of a KISS CONCERT
@jrlajara I believe I read somewhere that they actually toned down the show a bit, due to the nature of the event. Besides, would be pretty hard to clean up all the confetti from an outdoor event I think :P
@ReiAyanami06 Yeah they said they toned it down, because there was a section of the crowd that was seated at tables for a special dinner event for the fundraiser, during the show. Gene said "We dont wanna give these people heart attacks while they are eating" So yeah it wasnt their full fledged pyro & confetti etc

I didnt really like the toned down version. Risers and the confeti was the signature of that song.
