It took me till the third video to realise how your videos might have been associated with pot LOL, Resin. great tips thanks for the video. I was thinking of making some parts for my car, maybe replace the scratched gage covers, or I might just try hitting the old ones with that resin spray. awesum videos.
verry interresting. i came across your video by searching videos about casting resin bases for miniatures, but this gives me some nice new ideas. thx :)
hi hi! very cool video. i was just wondering if you have a lot of problems taking them out of the molds? i tried making some, and they all got stuck :(
I just want to be sure you know this: Some epoxy resins are absurdly flammable even after they've cured and hardened. They won't catch fire right away if exposed to flame; but when they do catch fire, they pop and burn for a really really long time. I didn't find this out by accident. I purposely set a small portion on fire in my back yard just to find out. And by "small" I mean really small, like 1 inch cubed. That little morsel of resin burned for about an hour.
Where do you typically find your tag board?

Thank - great info. I think that Diamond Glaze or something similar works much better at applying a backing though.

I found it on ebay somewhere. (Just do a text search for "Cool Jewels" and you should find some.)

where did you order the gem ice cube tray from?

It's a paint palette, not an ice cube tray.

I take that back. I replied before I saw the end of the video.
