Anyway, you would literally TOWER over Angus Young (5' 2") and Alexi Laiho (5' 5"), and Randy Rhoads looked like a midget next to Ozzy...lol. BTW, sweet tone too! I can't believe Peavey is discontinuing the JSX? Best amp they ever made in my opinion. Not sure what happened between JS and Peavey?

I have to put off buying one for awhile due to financial reasons, but I was hoping to be able to get one sometime this year.

But it would be cool to have just the guitar and amp with no effects to really be able to hear the tone, and just run through clean, crunch and saturated tones. Maybe I'll get lucky and find one at a local shop before I buy, so I can try it out for myself.

@guitarsandampsguy ... well if Peavey ultimately decides not to discontinue it, I will definitely do a demo as you describe. But yeah I definitely recommend trying it out for yourself (with your guitar) since the amp will naturally respond differently to different guitars/pickups. I notice that it is still featured for sale on the Guitar Center website. Anyway man, rock on!
