The transport chopper trick won't always work on consoles as you have to click either a or x the move through the positions so you may not have enough time to get back to to the pilots seat before you crash

Actually switching to the gunner position was first done in BFV not BF2 since it was so hard to hit enemy heli's with the main rockets.

I think the TV missile tactic is not something you should train... better get a gunner and use guided rockets/TV missile

However on public servers gunners tend to bail out early in that case your TV missile tactic is usefull but instead of the TV missile I do it when i need to break a lockon. This happens often because with guided rocket and no gunner the helo doesnt have any stealth and the lockons happen pretty fast.

i use the guided rockets for the pilot aswell to chip the tank a bit before fucking it up with the tv missile almost always get the kill that way

I love flying the Venom, but they need to make the pilot assists 5-10 times more than what they are currently. I'll fly my squad around and assist them in 20-50 kills in one match and end up with 900 score at the end of the round.

@Tibberclaw Yeah, they definitely need to increase the points for pilot assists. Even though I also love flying the transport helicopter, I usually avoid it since there is such little reward for your efforts. I think they should also increase the pilot assist for attack helicopters. I hate how I laser paint a tank and damage it with rockets , my gunner destroys it with a GM, he gets 300 points, I only get 70-90. -___-

hey level cap, try a circle strafe around a building ora tank so u and your gunner don't have to strafe then turn around, just simply circle the building or tank, makes your gunner and you twice as much affective against tanks

Yeah on console the tv missile is too fast, and the controls are wayyyyyyyyy too sensitive. Btw that's not me having my sensitivity too high, the tv missile is like that on it's own.

The Pilot Seat has F1, the Gunner are F2 and F3 and so on

Yeah guys bare in mind hes on pc. The tv missile works much smooother on there, its next to useless on console im afraid. And the transoprt heli trick wont work as well on console since you have to cycle through the positions rather than just go straight back to the pilot seat. Good vid anyway Lvlcap.

@vamp9190 Learn to be a graceful hippo stuck in mud.. But seriously it really helps to have the missile on target to begin with and do your fine tuning early in flight as it becomes harder to turn when it reaches maximum speed.

Doing that on console in the transport chopper, unless only the one seat is empty, is probably a bad idea. On console you cycle through the seats rather than jump straight to the one you want.

Pretty cool idea though, I would be annoyed if I got taken out like that as an attack chopper by a transport one.

Didn't the helicopter in BF2 automaticly turn 180 when you switched seats? That made it impossible to use the tv missiles, might have been an update to prevent you from doing that.

Btw, this is much easier on the PC because you get a button for every seat in the heli. On the Xbox you have to keep switching from seat to seat till you get where you want to be.
