  • @1:18 ...sounds like you were fingering yourself and just orgasm-ed! Loll

  • wiked toe.

  • This is brilliant! So many good young designers here on YouTube... thanks for posting these great ideas. Can't wait to try some of them!

  • I tried it on this t shirt that i cut into a tank top, i just had trouble tying it because it wouldnt get even but i eventually got it

  • ive done it b4

  • Good idea! :D

  • I did this to two shirts and it came out amazing. You just have to really listen and follow the instructions. :)

  • Around the armpit theres like a gap, is there a way you can like hide it or make it blend?

  • If I tried this I would mess it up horribly.

  • so so so so sooooo cute!!! :D

  • my dorkiest shirt just turned into the coolest thing i own.

  • CAPA TOTAL !!!!!!!!!!!!FELIITACIONES

  • Okay so what happens if instead of just cutting one side of your sleeves you cut like both sides of the sleeve and its like a poncho? Cause thats what i accidentally did but the rest looks good... PLEASE HELP!

  • can you re-do this like showing us how to do it,cus its a bit confusing:L

  • That was awesome! Now I can support y school's football team in style! :)

  • i luv the designs <3 to bad im not allowed to wear them at skool and sum im not even allowed 2 do

  • I did this; it was pretty simple and cool (: I could NOT get the arms though and ended up snipping them off. lol

  • OMG SUCH a TALENTED GURL!!<3

  • i have to say this that your idea is good...but you're not that good when it comes to teaching how to do it..

  • do you think that this also goes on a oversiced trouser that i take for sports?? i really like your vids!!! can you pls make a video how to cut out the neckline?? thx

  • im soooo thankful for you making this tutorial. i just turned my 1$ bargain large sized printed T into something sooo CUTE! THANK YOU! it came out awesome! love your vid!

  • this was my first tshirt i have made and it turned out well :)

  • how do u tie the triangles?

  • I did everything else good but the arms! D: How do i do the arms?

  • All you clothes must be awesome because you know all these cool cuts for t-shirts! I'm a little jealous!;D

  • Would this work on a long sleeved shirt?

  • @Dancingpebbles24, probably thats another good way to do that.

  • Finally! I'm going to start on one now

  • Judd Didd This Too Myy "I Passed The OAA Shirt" It Look Dumbb But Still Cutee

  • I might have ruined my shirt, I haven't done this technique yet though. But I turned it into a crop top and cut off the arms at the seams because when I pulled the shoulders down I didn't like it with the seams on my arm. So now basically the arm holes are too big. I wanted to do the diamonds on one side, and maybe the other side. I also have one arm completely out of the shirt like one of your other videos.. so what side should I do first? should I do both?

  • This 2 hard lol :)

  • very helpful! thank you =)

  • Omg!!! All my clothes r too young for me ( I'm very small) and it'll be creepy to show my mom that I wanna buy a hot top sooo I'll cut it up like u did ( and make it look awesome!!) yay :D

  • Hey I love how you cut up a t-shirt and make it look super cute on women like you. If only they are as creative as you are. Getting alot of free t shirts to mess around with or to practice on your perfection is a great way. I know some places you could stock up on shirts too. I call this re-use. I seen videos here where they made a bikini out of a t-shirt. saves ya money. doesnt it?

  • Awesome(: thanks !!

  • @ RoveryTroll wow you are a troll! No one told you to cut up an expensive shirt! I cut up my old ones!!

  • i find this difficult to understand -.-

  • gtfo, there's no way in HELL that I'm cutting my expensive shirt.

  • @RoveryTroll

That's why you use an old, or baggy shirt. Stupid.

  • @RoveryTroll Then you don't cut up an expensive one you cut a cheap one? Common sense?

  • This is effed up . Stupid lady

  • should i cut off the seams o n the sides?

  • thanks this came out great. I did it on an old shirt I never wear and now it looks super cute ^^!

  • shouldnt you wear a tank or something under that....

  • I ruined my shirt because of you.

    Your descriptions are crap.

    thanks,

  • I don't think this will work in me because I'm fat :(

  • OMG ! I DOnt Thro wAny More Of My Old Clothes Away AnyMore. Maybe They Have Something For Shoes On YouTube (:

  • would this work for a shirts thats already fitted?

  • @tanisaliteupyurlifee if they already fit it would make them reallyyy tight... but if its loose at all you could try it(:

  • My mother loves you lol!!! I have so many old t-shirts i dont wear anymore that are rocking and actually fit me!!! Thank-you so much

  • Thanks for all the fabulous tutorials! Me and my friend had a blast taking the scissors to some old t-shirts, and thanks to you they turned out really cool!

  • this is perfect for me since im too lazy for a sewing machine! i LOVEEEE your videos you are so talented and pretty!!! :)

  • Sooo confused ! step 3 got lost on and the shirt is so pretty

  • i have a question like when u tie the ends and cutt off everything and it's done , how to u wash the t-shirt like doesn't the tie ends open or something? or do they need to be hand washed ?

  • @xNegativeNashx you probobly dont need to worry about it. just make sure you tie the knots reallyyyyy tight b4 cutting the extras off. if your really worried you could maybe use the tiniest bit of fabric glue in the knots b4 tieing them :) good luck!

  • ok, this is offically my favorite shirt, i did the diamond sides with a front weave and made it off the shoulder with a halter strap, on the ends of the halter string i made a bow going thru two holes on each side next to the shoulder, im theinking of possibly making a weave for the shoulders or leaving in dangly. Not sure yet :)) any ideas?

  • MY SHIRT IS AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG THANK U SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! I don't have to wear it inside to keep away from public i now can wear it outside and have pride! lol tnks!

  • oh my gosh!! my shirt came out AMAZING!! thank you!! I've never cut up a shirt before in my life but it came out so great!! now I can wear this out in public and not for bed

  • holy freakin camel toe

  • @PrincessDeena12 hahahaha this made my day...

  • What great ideas/videos you have. Thanks for sharing. Regarding the diamond cut and measuring how deep to cut - do you measure on one side, then cut that amount in half so you can cut two sides? For example, in your video above you measure 2 inches (plus 1.5) to cut each side. Did you measure 4 inches to cut off on one side to determine this? I hope this question makes sense. Thanks

  • Thanks :) this really helped

  • Took some playing around with but I got it right and I'm excited to do this do a bunch of my band T's that're too big!<3

  • @iCrAzEhGirl Same here! :D

  • im attempting this right now xD

  • can you do a diamond weave down the back of a t shirt???

  • Thank you so much for this! It helped a lot, now I can actually wear my Desandnate shirt x]

  • @PrincessGerardWay81 desandnate!!! :D I want the crescent moon face one. sorry just was browsing the comments and saw this and had to say something. ps: I love your name <3Gerard Way

  • @iheartTomMarknTravis I want that one too!:D

    Lool, its okay. (:

  • U look crazy like most asian girls do

  • this is like oober cute!!! im trying RIGHT NOW and i really hope itll work :) great vid

  • Really glad i watched this...I used to think these styles could only be done by professionals...You made it so simple an easy to understand...THANK YOU!!

  • scretch ? thumbs up if anyone else noticed that..

  • Soooo I'mma try this out right now!! :D

  • ok you used way too much math:/

  • OK so i absolutely LOVE!! your videos on t-shirt reconstruction. My wardrobe unfortunately consists of mostly huge t-shirts that i NEVER wear, because they are so big and i feel frumpy. I really dont have the money to go out and buy shirts that i'd rather wear, so these videos give me hope and i am so pumped up to try this stuff out!!!! THank U!!!! :o)

  • Probably a good idea to start the first one on a "practice t-shirt" or two, that way If you make a mistake, your not at such a loss. Plus that way, when you do this on a really cool shirt, it'll be just how you want it after practicing on the previous shirts =)

  • I have a little bit of a differnt way. Instead of turning them into triangle cuts do rectangle cuts.

  • @MandyandIzzy411 Rectangles would look very cool too!

  • That's soo cute :D

  • @obsessive56 Yay thanks :)

  • lol, or just go to the tailor and pay 5 dollars to get it fitted, although I don't know why people get large t-shirts to begin with

  • @wainblatrobert Why not save money? But this is more about it being a fun do-it-yourself project anyway. I use shirts I got for free at various events so they're usually oversized

  • @wainblatrobert Some people purposely buy larger t-shirts to alter them. Why pay 5 dollars to get a shirt fitted when you could turn it into something creative? This chick is very creative and deserves props.

  • @Fritemare Thanks so much <33

  • @myheartsbeepin98 Watch "tshirt sides" video to see what it would look like if you leave them as squares!

  • I totally ruined one of my shirts idk what I did :'(

  • @TheMarn12345 awww oh no!

  • @TheMarn12345 i ruined 2 :P and if my mom findz out im dead

  • mine looks awesome lol

  • @amanda1996ing Yayyyy :D

  • @salinabear thanx for the vid it helps

  • @amanda1996ing No prob!

  • I did it and mine looks totally wrong!

  • @UndeadCrayon Oh no what happened?

  • do u have to cut in into the diamond thing or can u just leave the squares

  • @chanceromance100 You can totally leave the squares, check out my "T-Shirt Sides - Oversized Shirt" one to see what it would look like, it's my "Going the Distance" t-shirt

  • I can't do it =""(

    -__________________-

  • @bigL180 aww how come? which part?

  • @salinabear the triangles where somewhat hard to make and yea thats it but i managed to finish it but my grandma kinda messed with it and well its not that awesome anymore -_-

  • im actually doing this right now i just gotta make the triangles and tie then done :) thanks :D

  • @bigL180 haha woo hoo, how'd it turn out?

  • @TheCingTah Aww yay thats awesome!

  • how did you make the shoulders like that?

  • @SuperNOVAgirl95 What do you mean? Off the shoulder?

  • What do I do with the bottoms of the sleeves?? Do I cut & tie that part too??

  • @EmmaSkies Yup you can if you don't want the sleeves to be too big! I did that with this shirt. But you can check out my '8 ways to cut a tshirt' video to see how I did batwing sleeves

  • do you ever wear the shirts you design after you show the tutorial or do you just do it for learning purposes?

  • @erkah17 It depends on the shirt. Sometimes I try to add in so many different designs on a shirt it becomes too much, so it just for the video. But I just cut 2 for last weekend so I could wear it to my conference!

  • @salinabear You're so cute...

  • @vietdude1979 lol thanks

  • How did u do that design to the top of the shirt love?

  • @tinyone37 It's in a different video, "How to cut up the front of your t-shirt" video :)

  • @catscandance12 Ohh no haha. lemme know if you need clarification

  • It would have been more helpful to show the actual video rather than pictures...

  • @evakunerth I never filmed a video for it. Are the pictures not clear enough?

  • @salinabear idk its going very fast

  • @evakunerth You can always pause the video, I have written instructions too

  • that's awesome c:

  • @misspikaa you're awesome c:

  • how did you do the neckline?

  • @unloveable198 I have a tutorial on it in my "How to cut up the Front of your t-shirt"

  • where did you learn all of this? did someone teach you, or you figure it out yourself? :D

  • @tc123123 All kinds of ways! I watched some Adam Saaks videos, other videos on youtube, I see things at the mall, and I try random things myself :D

  • @salinabear oh yeah! i remember the saaks guy, i watch him do videos on cutting peopls clothes. he is amazing :P

  • @tc123123 Lol yes! He is so fast, and so awesome

  • i'm gonna do this to my elementary grad shirt :)

  • @pinkcatz13 Yay awesome!

  • Thank you for your tutorials! They are very helpful. :D

  • @HateDoctor Aw thanks! :D

  • Loved it, and suscribed to you! :D

  • @KorennaEstes Aw thanks!!

  • I was just wondering could you do the same to an oversized hoodie? (cutting off the hood of coarse) the sleeves are so huge (in length and width) not to mention the huge amount of excess fabric i wish i could chop off

  • @McCray0nz I've never tried it. The fabric might be too thick thought. With a tshirt, after you cut the strips, you can pull them and it makes them stretch out and become longer. Not sure what would happen with a hoodie. Sewing the sides would probably be a safer bet.

  • wow i really love the way that this doesn't require sewing, thanks so much!! <3

  • @showsomedignaty No problem! I don't know how to sew hehe

  • ghetto and slutty

  • @DANNYMACize I'm from the hood

  • What knot do you use to tie the T-shirt?

  • @55Pietras Just a normal double knot :)

  • bloody hell this vid is driving me crazy i love it so much...sigh all the weight ive lost and tshirts that are so big, hehe now i can change em ehh....with my cousin i hope! any how is it possible to some how fit beads on it while your weaving it down the thins strings??

  • @fairygoodpixie Congrats on the weight loss!! Perfect way to change up your shirts :D Yes! You shoudl totally try putting some beads on it, if the string is small enough to fit the hole of the beads. You can string them before you double knot the sides, or if you want them to dangle, after you double knot, string the bead on, and tie a knot on the end of the dangling string so the bead doesn't fall off. Does that make sense?

  • really cute :)

  • @urHOTyup28 me or the shirt? LOL jk!

  • Cute!

  • @SuperJBlover97 Thanks!

  • i always think when girls do this to there shirts that is looks so trampy. if you wanted a fitted t-shirt, why not buy one. it defeats the purpose.

  • @xohollisteraero It's about being sustainable. Recycle old clothing into something new instead of using up more resources by purchasing new clothes. Plus, I really enjoy being hands on and crafty!

  • @xohollisteraero You never had random big t-shirts, like from an event you participated in, or a family reunion, or in a giftbag, or something?

  • Do you sell some of the t shirts you reconstruct? I've only had 1 successful t shirt reconstruction out of about 100 and would just like to buy a properly done one :( x

  • @CathFerook lol I never thought about it before. I see you live far from me though! How much would you want to pay for one?

  • @salinabear Hmmmm, I don't know hadn't thought about that lol!! I usually buy my t-shirts from what you guys call thrift stores for a few £'s purely because of the unique/ different factor but in places like Topshop,H&M, Primark they retail between £5 - £25 - 30, so I don't know to be honest, you are the wonderful creator, please let me know xo

  • Sure thing, just cut up your clothing!

  • I didn't think I'd like this design but after seeing this, I love it! Thanks so much!

  • @mcasti21 Lol that's awesome glad I could change your mind. There are ways to customize the look too!

  • thanks...my girls and i had a blasts cutting out our shirts.. not revealing at all, cute style

  • @montebellogirl aw thats so sweet(: another thing you should try is tye dying, its soo much fun!

  • @stuffandstuffable Oooh cool, you should make a video tutorial!

  • @montebellogirl Thank you very much! Glad you tried it out!

  • AMAZING! ;D!! Also to let you know Salina that you know the weave at the front of the shirt i recently saw a girl wearing it in a movie!

  • @awesomelycoolzo19 LOL that is so cool! Do you remember what movie?

  • @salinabear "Easy A" It was soo cool, the designer must have seen
