Don't buy from Ibuypower they consistently gets bad reviews for all the broken computers they ship out. If you don't believe me type in Ibuypower reviews in google, and go through it. Try Ironsidecomputers(dot)com instead. Those guys consistently do a great job.

@FilmsQC No1 uses 12gb of ram -.- so i wouldgo with the 6gb(it's fast too so thats a plus).

The ATI 5970 is basicly 2 ATI 5870s stuck together :P Just 1 5870 is about 20-25% faster than a 6870 in the majority of task they can perform. So the 5970 of course :)

IF you aren't retarded and know about the good brands out there, IBP has some really amazing brands, when i bought one of my systems for only 980 dollars it had a 1gb EVGA 9800 GTX+ which is a fantastic card, and corsair is the way to go for me anyway for power supplies, and they offer that brand as well. you just have to know your brands, and know you can trust those brands. Also, I have had 3 computers from IBP and they are all still running amazingly. Not sure where the bad comments come from

Lol, IBUYPOWER uses great parts, asus and gigabyte for the motherboard. Intel and AMD. Chasis' are fine. Easily the best video cards out there. Some bad power supplies but they have thermaltake and corsair.

lol at people who can't put a computer together. iBUYPOWER uses lower end products for their systems, but charge you a shit ton more than the MSRP. iBUYPOWER is a better solution to Alienware and Dell computers no doubt, but it's not that hard to build your own.

If you spent $1200 at iBUYPOWER, you could have slapped your own shit together for about $300 less, and the components would have probably been better.

ibuypower is a shitty company and i warn anyone thinking about buying a computer from them, i spent $950 on a piece of shit that keeps freezing every 5 mins, i can't stay on my computer for more then 5 mins without it freezing up, and i have only had my comp for 3 weeks, and guess what i have to pay for re shipping when it goes in to get fixed, stay away from this company, it's been 3 weeks now and my comp is still in for fixing !!!!

if you get what you pay for then i ended up pretty good. i hear some bad and good reviews, and i must say that they don't put EVERYONES computer on the top of the list, but when it does work it...is...awesome!!!! mine hasn't frozen up or had any issues at all. i find that is you pay the extra $19 or whatever for the good wiring and some money on better cooling, there is a better chance yours will be perfect. if it still isn't, then thats just unlucky

the 920 is the same as the highest end i7 they just run at different factory frequencies so people that pay in acess of 1000$ for the extreme i7 are sticking there own peins in there own ass when they can get the 920 google around and then OC it to beat the i7 extreme for hundreds of $ less. unless you have a dell witch does not support OCing the processor then your almost butt raped they can be OCed but i dont think anyone that does not know anything about Ocing should try it with a dell

you cant just go on the model number to tell wether its good for the game or not, if its a high intensity graphically demanding game like cod or halo or something then you want to make sure your graphics card has atleast 512mb of graphic memory, 256mb is okay for world of warcraft or something like that, but you could play that game on a 256 just not maxed out quality settings
