1:SYG most definatly IS a hardcore band. keep in mind that there are multiple kinds of hardcore.

2: Something doesnt have to be 100% heavy to be considedred hardcore. hardcore is about attitude. Take it from someone involved in the hardcore scene

3: Hardcore and Metal are NOT the same thing.

4: Just because its not metal, doesnt mean people cant mosh/hardcore dance and have fun

@donkeypoo99 1: Set Your Goals is NOT a hardcore band. They were pretty damn close back in 2005/2006 when they had BALLS and hardcore influenced songs, but now they have castrated themselves and play convenient poppunk. Not to say I don't like matty smalls as a person..

I dont like their new stuff either, but they are still a band thats influenced by hardcore, and in my book (which i know you dont give a shit about) that makes them hardcore in a sense
