my psp go has scratches on the front screen, would i have to replace the outer shell or the lcd screen it self? or is there a plastic cover over the lcd cause of the shell? the lcd screen works fine

The CPU is faster than the old psp, the old cpu goes at 333mhz, the new goes at 480mhz.

No, the old cpu has 333mhz but goes at 222, new cpu has 480mhz and goes a 333mhz.

Really? How come both my PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 are running at 333 MHz for God of War? What CPU does PSPgo use? Wiki says it's MIPS 333 MHz didn't say it's a downclocked version from 480 Mhz. Anyway 480 MHz is still weak. iPod Touch as 800 MHz down clocked to 600 MHz Coretex A-8 and it's $299 for 32GB flash all-in-one computer. I just wonder why Sony charges $250 for PSPgo when they can get money by forcing people to download from their PSstore.

You can easily overlock any psp (fat, slim or 3000) by using custom firmware, and the psp go will be hacked as any other device.

No, the psp go will be hacked with an exploit, like psp 3000 with ChickHEN.

@ELICIT23 maybe the batteries look similar maybe if you connected a pandora battery to the motherboard/wires connected to battery or opened the go battery and looked and saw the same thing that turned the fat/slim psp battery into a pandora. You never know maybe Sony just locked us out from the battery but never actually changed it.

@Backfire37888 u think that would not because i think the motherboard on the normal psp battery cannot be used in a psp go or the psp go just doesn't allow u to load the motherboard of the battery

@widowmaker6000 There was an update for the psp a long time ago that overclocked the psp cpu from 222 mhz to 333 mhz The psp go usb is 480 mhz and the cpu is 333 mhz

it was the 3.50 update, but the psp works at 222, it only works at 333 with some games; and the psp go processor is 480mhz, but it works at 333.
