You say that gallardo lp560 have better performance. Audi claims that R8 V10 will set a new lap record on nurburgring. R8 is better balanced car than gallardo and that's a big advantage...both cars are great.

Yea pricinig is almost the same, gallardo is a little bit more expensive than R8 V10, why R8? becouse it is different from gallardo and in my eye it looks better and now with this V10 engine it's really amazing!

I plan on driving the car very often also *possibly* in winter. Money is not an object, however the less headaches the better.

I will also be taking this to a track somewhat often. I have other cars that are more-so track cars.

I'm a huge Porsche fan, but this car is just... astonishing. If you wont to drive car in winter - choose between 911 Turbo and R8 V10, because of 4wheel drive. Lambo and Corvette is a waste of money. DBS is too expensive for no reason. That's just my opinion. Have a nice day!

I definetly am leaning towards the R8 5.2 V10. Thing is... Lambo 560-4 is slighty more expensive, yet it out performs the R8V10.

But I would think servicing a Lambo would be more difficult then the R8, although both may be serviceable at an audio dealership so I dont know.

The ZR1 is a mean car. Brutal and its performance figures are through the roof, but it doesn't have the same quality of luxury so it gets hit for that. Plus corvettes are somewhat common here. (USA).

For me Gallardo is just R8 with a posh name. Maybe I'm wrong. But I know about 2-3 people who was disappointed after they bought it for the reason I said early. Anyway, you should to test it yourself :)

IMO the Gallardo and the R8 look verrrry different. The Gallardo is more exotic, sharper, but doesnt have the daytime LED style that the audi has, with these cars, it just comes down to personal styling preference.

I'd get a Gallardo LP560/4 over this anyday. but this R8 is still badass

umm no, the v8 r8 has air outlets right below the lights and not the whole back end like the lp 560. whereas this v10 r8 that has come out now has the whole back end blackened that looks like the lp. anyway not a surprise since audi own lamborghini.
