I am on hold with the IRS at this moment. On hold 2 hrs 47 minutes and counting. It happened a couple days ago and then 1 minute into the call, the call was dropped, for that one I was only on hold 1 hr 50 minutes.

Happens every time. 3 hours then they drop you. I've done it 3 times.
