Love this. Pelican are an astounding band! Pesronally in relation to the arguement at the top of the page; some people should pay attention more attention to what THEY think... NOT what OTHERS think. I don't give a flying fuck if it's stoner/junkie or whateverthefuckelse type of rock,i like it,and that's the most important thing,this ladies and gentlemen,at least for me,is something that i would consider a classical masterpiece,not only because of the sound,but the fact,that you can make 10 (originally 11:14) minutes long instrumental peace totally enjoyable throughout the soundtrack,a lot of bands can't even manage to make 3 minute long song enjoyable enough to not force me change the track

technically its progressive metal. but pelican are widely accepted amongst the stoner rock crowd. and actually the sound they produce in this song is the sound most stoner/psychadelic rock bands produce, the rest of their stuff is slightly different in comparrison.
