You know, I had trouble with my local GameStop this last weekend when they didn't have the free Deoxys. It was a shipping error and no fault of their own, so I forgive them for it, especially since they said the part would come before this weekend

My father's Klax arcade machine (his only material Possession) has been sitting in the corner of my apartment (basement of volunteer library) for 9years, collecting dust and Mold. I was always too arrogant to play it but now I Face those memories (dad died of fat on heart) but Now I recognize that gaming isn't about owning a PS3...it comes from Your soul. This video and This movement have inspired me to plug in that Klax machine and play again as a True Gamer.

Its like I'm with Dad again, up in heaven...or as a true gamer would say, up in the Bonus World ^_^ and I told this to my boss at Circuit City when he asked why I called in sick today. Methinks some people will just never understand what it means to be a true gamer. ;_; I need to find a new job but I am lucky that, even as a 34-year-old, I still have the child like wonder to remember what it really means to play video game.

So, essential to be a "semper gamer" is to convert everything in life into a game? I believe they call that obbession, though currently it doesn't exactly seem to be an unhealthy one.

semper games isnt about converting everything in life into a game but rather seeing the game underneath everything already. Games surround us in our daily life, whether you like it or not. Its more a matter of how you see things rather than forcing nongame items to be games

Lol, i meant as in converting everything you see to be the equvilent of the gaming similarity, such as "Heaven" being "the big bonus round in the sky". It is therefore basically a cult, as it comprises of a devotion and almost worship of a particular activity. Then again, i don't actually have anything against, i'm merely stating what it is that i've figured out about it, as, like cults usually are, Semper Games is very shrouded in its ideals at certain points.

the Semper Games movement is firmly grounded in LOGIC above all else. We are and athiestic people hellbent on proving those religious fucks wrong. In many ways games our are relgion and we praise them every day at the gaming madrasah through ritual play and training in the most important & influential 16bit classics. Games simply make up the majority of our lives and therefore we take them to heart. Some are inspired by gay marraige or abortiong - WE are gaming vigilantes, Hellbent on the glory

Vigilantes? Yeah, no matter what ever way you put it, it still comes out to me that this is a result of obbession. So, you want to boycott and harm people who stand against games and in your way? Thats slightly extreme there, especially for the ideals of your cause. Yes, i hate how there are like no good games with any soul nowadays, i'll agree with you on that.

If you care about games its your DUTY to S.T.A.N.D. U.P. give a mole an anthill and hell turn it into a mountain. It starts somewhre but this has to end today. Are you just going to let the purity of games fall victim to the money grubbing next gen developers? When wa sthe last time we had a REAL game, not some madden BS. We fight and fight for the common cause of purestrain games politely never calling people names yet mangusx1 makes death threats and uses foul language now who is right?
