    I suppose that could be done, but then you wouldn't be able to get any nice browning on the crust or the cheese. It might also make a lot of moisture pool up. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you don't have a broiler it might be worth a shot.

  • Thanks, great tips, as simple as letting it sit. i bought some Trader's Joe's plain dough and started kneading it while cold. Not easy to stretch. but tasted good. Their other dough was mixed w/ spinach as I remember, but was "doughy".
