First saw these guys at the Living Room in St. Lou back in 98/99. Liked the full horn section they used to have - but yeah, lots of skill with this group.
This band, which I came across accidentally, really drives home to me the fickle nature of fame on a global level. They seem to have as much talent as any band that has been on the charts multiple times, yet they still play basically on a local level. The lead man would appear to have all of what it takes to front a world class band and the other musicians obviously also have the required talent. So why is their fame limited while that of certain others soars? It is a conundrum, n'est-ce pas?
