hey arianmarandi, read up about khorasan. rumi, avicenna, etc were born there and it makes up most of present day afghanistan. most of ancient persian literature resembles eastern persian spoken in afghanistan moreso than western persian in iran. the present day borders of afghanistan were carved out by the briitsh or else afghanistan (most of it) would be part of iran today as well and better off.

no arianmarandi, those descendant sof mongols only make up like 8% of afghanistan, they're hazaras and they're shias. tajiks make up up to 40% of afghanistan according to some estimations and are persians. the only difference is most tajiks are sunni whereas persians in iran are mostly shia. and my point is many of the cities in afghanistan ARE persian cities. herat, kabul, balkh, etc.
