Well sometimes people who are very religious have something huge against gays. many Christians are against homosexuality. Very few Religions accept homosexuals.

Religion is just something humans - as pathetic as they may be - latch onto to stave off the fear of the inevitable, the fear of death. They convince themselves of heaven and hell and anyone who defies their ways are wrong and shall burn in hell, forever punished by God Almighty for their 'sins.'
