@GringoMuchachos There is a way buddy^^ It's called soft th. But it does not work with FSX... You could set up a SLI system though, should work with that. Just to cheap nVidia took that dualview function out of the GeForce drivers.
Flight Sim X was sick. Cant wait to see whats next.. I tried other flight sim games and the only one that comes close was the one in my video. X Plane was garbage. Idk how to post a video response but check my page and look at the video and description.
yeh i cant fly like this but i have triple monitors but i use 2 split not down the middle somy center veiw is like to the left ish and the other screens for my insrument panels but see your point.
Am I being supa stupid or something. i have an nvidia 8800 card with 2 DVI monitor outs. Both are conencted to 2 Dell 21" monitors running at max res. Windows 7 is working fine in dual monitor, expanding my desktop across both screens.
So how do I get FSX to span across both screens, like a real airplane, so the left monitor shows the left half of teh cockpit and the right does teh right side of teh cockpit. Like it is on this vid.
okay i can help you with this... first i would need to know if both of your monitors are connected to the same video card.. second if not then get a dvi cable--this goes to first monitor, get another cable dvi to vga that goes to second monitor.... make sure ur computer is off and unpluged before you do this.
set Nvidia to dual view mode from Control Panel > Nvidia Control Panel Ive tried horizontal span but FSX wont span in full-screen mode, you have to stretch the window manually in windowed FSX mode. And it looks awful in two monitors with different size and resolution,
Start your flight as usual, youll notice that your second monitor will show blank screen. Press Alt->Views->New Views choose whatever view your heart desires.Grab and drag that new view window to your second monitor and resize as necessary. Basically you can grab and drag any window to that second monitor from throttle, GPS view, aerial view map, spot view, other aircrafts, you name it.
But from my experience I dont recommend to put another aircraft view or anything that far away from your aircraft on the second monitor since it will make your system works harder and make FSX (or the VGA card?) unstable and will crash your computer. srry i had to post 4 comments but it was to long so i had to do this.
Is there any way of having it so that the left screen shows the left seat cockpit (Virtual Cockpit) and the right screen having the right seat cockpit? I know i can just open another view and drag the right seat view to the right screen but then its weird cuz there are two runways on landing. SAME QUESTIONS WITH pne333....any answer...pplease help! thks

how do you do it i mean i already did that but i want the cockpit view in the first monitor and other views of the plane in the second monitor because mine can only go horizontal
please tell me how to put it on dual moniters, when i do it one moniter is black and the other one has the screen on it whats wrong please help, ASAP! please
If you use nvidia video card, just open the nvidia control panel and choose horizontal extension, after that you must take the highest screen setting on fsx.
I have a 22" and two 17" i'd love to try that on this game but i swapped one of the 17's for a 15" .. kinda wish i didn't now lol a 15 17 and 22... that would be one odd looking game =D
hmm about the black line what if u opened the monitor removed the plastic from the egdes (sides with line) and then put the lcds next to each other since the glass parts will be closer the line will be a lot smaller and not so annoying;P
yep just run the monitors in dual view that way each monitor is treated individually which means you can have a fullscreen thing running in one whilst using word on another etc....
How do you stretch the windows in two monitors? Do you have 2 graphics board, or do you use native multiple monitors on one GB only? I mean, what would you consider bew the best configuration if you had unlimited resources to buy GBs and monitors?
You can dual screen FS2004 without using windowed screen in FS9 you know ;) I do it all the time, just enter Windowed mode, undock the other wievs and push "Alt+ENTER" to maximize ;)
Yeh that's why I wouldn't use both screens for the same thing. I tried attaching my laptop to my monitor for second monitor and it really did suck with the line in the middle. Maybe gaming in one and app's in the other - that would be good. I do graphic design and web design so it would also come in handy.
to me with flight sim the benefit of 2 monitors is if u can WIDEN your view not just spread-this would involve i assume having two windows of the gameopen,1 on each screen and then syncing them-but how do u do this properly?-i tried and its real difficult to do as the angles dont tally up.also lets not forget a networking of two computers is needed to share processing otherswise i think cpu goes up 2 fold with 2 windows/screens?!i think u are just stretching on this vid no?
I think it would just be better to have one monitor on one view and the other on another. I did a 37" lcd for the front view and two smaller lcds like yours for the 45% views. I think it works better so you have no stripe.
The skipping is because it is a Flight Sim recording, I do not get the skipping during play.

It's all about the video card(s). Most people understand how significant they are in the performance of your computer.

when in flight, press alt, then you see the bar on the top, press options and then press Full screen,
if its not in the options tab, try the others.
press it once and stretch the window across both screens

Great video, its less expensive for a good flight experience with only 2 monitors (two 19 inches) than matrox triple-head and other stuff like this.

Ouch, running one monitor at 1440 x 900 and the other at 1024 x 768 would get kinda trippy.
