The way back is fairly simple. Make your Reps and Senators aware you understand a Republican's ideals are based on state rights not expanding Federalism. Let them know you love the free market but not corporate/governmental monopolies. Make them become true Republicans and Conservatives. Then his handlers made sure the second 350B was approved and ready to go when he took office so he could bail out some more. He also let bailout maestro T. Geithner set up a $1Trillion bailout program called PPIP, but then they just changed the accounting rules (FAS 157) and so the banks didn't need it. Sorry, but I know more about the bailouts than Obama does. He's so culpable.
