The "no-spin" News articles stated that the minster of the Ebenezer Chapel also minstered in Salem as well. He ministered a message from Gods Words, which pissed off 2 men from this church. And they burned down this church. What you see is the remnant of the re-built church. There is more to this story, but far from this minister being a weird murderous cult leader hwo killed women and children which is nothing more than bs.
I would like to add that I lived near this chapel @ the may pulvy house back in 2001. And heard the cult like stories from kids in their 20s thought happened @ Ebenezer Chapel. My own investigations back then lead me to downtown dayton where nobody was talking about it. But one person told me I could possibly find info what happend to this chapel @ the old Salem library. I found the truth on a couple microphish reals of actual Salem "real "News articles. You should check it out....
Unfortuately the family has had it's fill of vandels and false stories. The child murdering story is just that, a story. How hurtful would you find it if your family was maligned in this way. I promised the Odell family caretaker that I would speak out whenever I saw people repeating this story.
Dude, this shit is for real!! just about a week ago I went there with a bunch of my friends, and they were smoking weed and spitting on the graves and shit. about two miles down the road after we left, the person who was driving, my friend Kayla, didn't see the turn up ahead and took it way to fast and we skidded of the road and almost fliped the car into a ditch.. it was the most intense thing of my life!!! i havn't gone back there since and im never going to go back there... EVER!
After a recent trip, they have a chain across the door of the chapel and a security camera mounted to the roof. Not sure if it's real or not. They have vandalism signs posted and the graffiti is gone. Nothing out of the ordinary has yet to happen for us here with stills or audio. Casper should check out the houses in Mission Mills in Salem, OR. That is a location that hasn't been reported haunted, yet we picked up several audio clips from the Jason Lee house that is located there.
