My son spent 10 years battling dermatomyositis and is far more disabled than McCain-yet he is in college studying Computer Graphics and has no problem with the keyboard. His range of motion is far more limited than McCain's, it took him two years of physical therapy before he could walk again, Many more years of op to work on his fine motor skills, I respect McCains service but there are many with disabilities that are able to master the computer. Your son is interested in a skill that is primarily focused around the computer. A policitican would be too busy for example to do their own computer graphics for marketing material and would have staff do this. Politics is not a computer dominant skill where one sits at a computer while debating issues in the Senate. Politics is a people skill and it is not at all necessary to be computer savy. Bill Clinton sent 2 emails in 8 years of office. Staffers do the computer research and write emails.

Actually, I know people who know McCain (I come from a Navy family) and they say he was NOT a good Naval officer, either befor eor after Vietnam.
He survived the Hanoi Hilton and gets points for that. He's a nice guy but was NOT a good officer according to people who served with him. He was reckless, hotheaded, crashed planes and after returning got in trouble for having "innapropriate relations" with female subordinates and the wives of other Navy men.
