its the firey that makes the image better you wouldnt get that good of a copy with out the firey controller. Canon Makes some great color machines too.

First off it is a "Fiery" controller which is for "printing only" not "copying"!

Nice - I had to pre-install a MPC6000 a few days ago. Unfortunately somebody missed to order the print/scan option^^

I like the smaller MPC's too but we are not really good with the MP4000/5000 an the parents of this model. Dunno why but the developer/toner combination produces lot's of problems and Ricoh Japan already straighten out that there will be no modifications besides workarounds.
