hi i just got a blade cp from my grandpa because he crashed it. it landed rotor down so i think something may have happened to it. do you think you can tell me what to look for to fix?
ps i'm a beginner at flying heli's but i know how to fix them well.
@partyboycjg54 More than likely you'll need a few replacement parts especially the main shaft which bends real easily. Apart from that, you could look for other bent pushrods and other linkages. I'm no expert on flying or fixing helicopters. I have a Blade 400 which has been out of commission for months now. I think it needs a new main shaft too!
I received a free Blade CP about 3 or 4 years ago not too long after I bought a Hirobo XRB SR. I tried flying it, but really never mastered the nose in or side in orientation flying. Needless to say the CP owned me. Cool to see people still flying them. I think I will have to fix mine up and actually give it a good go and learn on it.
Thanks for putting this video of your Blade CP Pro on Youtube. I bought one recently, even tho it's an older model and ended up rebuilding it from tip to toe. Also a brand new Transmitter with all new Crystals. After well over a month the people at Hobbytown USA helped me get it in running order. Origianlly I bought it wrecked/crashed from a dude for 50 bucks. Now I have something like over $200 + invested in it. It is so Cool...!
@JerrysTube Cool, I've had a few small accidents and one bad one with the Blade CP. I was trying to do a loop and forgot to stitch modes for negative pitch. Ended up being a half-loop :(. I haven't tried a loop since with this heli!
I had one of these and it didnt last long , I guess i just didnt have it trimmed right or i am just a bad copter flyer , good job at least i know they fly and it was me
@callofduty1944 Thanks, I haven't flown in ages though. My other heli (Blade 400) is in need of repairs... Perhaps I'll get that fixed so I get some more flights in with a GoPro HD cam attached.
Yeah, I know it's pretty corny... I play mainly classical piano music but this is just something that I played on the Yamaha Motif one day. Nothing special but better than nothing eh? Wait, I could get paid $0.99 for this? LOL.
hey i got a problem it wont charge it always says that there is no battery there (red flashing light) how can i fix this or do i have to buy a new one?
Not sure...have you tried contacting E-flite? Their tech support has been helpful to me in the past. I currently have a problem with my Blade 400 3D and will call tech soon :o
Not extremely hard to fly in lights winds but avoid the stormy conditions and don't try and fly backwards with this heli. I've done a couple loops but not rolls. Two loop attempts ended badly but fixable. I use RealFlight G4.5 flight sim now. I think the electric helis are harder in the sim than flying the real model.
The Blade CP is a good heli for learning I think but most people say that you should learn on a larger heli and get help. I guess the RealFlight sim helped me enough. The Blade is really my second heli. However, we had no success (constant radio lockup problems due to vibration?) with the Hirobo MH10 gasser.
Okay, cheap "toy" yes. Fun...yes! Let me see, I've crashed this heli about four times and once was a real hard crash. Well, $15 later I was back in the air. If I had a more expensive "toy" heli then it would have cost a heck of a lot more than that I tell you. I've been told many times if you can fly this heli then the larger ones are a piece of cake.
yes it can perform loops and inverted flight....You just need what BladeDC5 said the lipo 1300 because im sure but prove me if im wrong but the regular battery doesnt have enough power.
Do you mean hover nose in? Yes, but that is a bit harder to maintain. This heli just can't fly backwards very well as the gyro always fights this and flips it nose forwards which can be rather sudden and hairy.
Yes I have performed a loop with the symetrical blades (in idle up mode for reverse pitch!) and 1300mAh LiPo battery pack. I'm not brave enough to try inverted flight yet but I'm sure it can do this. There is a new larger more powerful Blade 400 3D made by eFlite that comes stock ready for extreme flight maneuvers butn I'm saving for a T-Rex 600.

What was the sound track? Classic songs by Nintendo? That sound track sounded like something you pick up for 99 cents at a truck stop in Oklahoma.

This song is now the soundtrack for my life.

how hi can it go?
viperfide 2 years ago
It goes pretty high. I have flown it over 100' but wouldn't want to fly it much higher than that because it gets too small to see ;-)

Very nice flying! Was that a heading lock gyro you have on your heli? I have a Blade CP also and im hoping a heading lock gyro will help stablize it.
Doamino41 2 years ago
No heading lock gyro on this heli. I've flown the Blade 400 3D which has does have one and it is much more stable.

Thanks for watching. Yeah, our sometimes cat makes an appearance from time to time :-)

is this one hard to fly? i have the fs one sim and its like impossible to fly on that.
