  • ... tell the story again to the 310 ...

... MEN FROM CZECHOSLOVAKIA in the battle of Britain ...

    ... makes me feel proud.

  • Awesome song. About the Battle of Britain, and mentions the 401 Canadians. Doesn't get much better than that for me.

  • I am glad you have your country back today, but it is obviously still suffering for what Russia put it through. The US' gutless move not to put missiles in Eastern Europe because of Russian pressure is deplorable and no doubt due to the idiot president they have there. If Russia go communist again, with all the unrest there, and try to bludgeon Poland again, you will not be alone. Russia have gotten away with too much brutality to be allowed to reform their union. UK/POLAND

  • @22ndWave and i suppose the only people to do really stupid brutal shit during WW2 were russia and germany? you seem to be forgetting your history.

  • @Ramanoser Every country involved in the war committed brutality. It was a war. The British Empire was brutal a lot of the time, but it didn't CRIPPLE the countries it ruled in the way Russia did and when I say Russia, I mean the USSR. I'm sure many Russians also felt the communist government strangled their country. What I'm saying is the Soviet Union was a terrible idea and Putin has called its break up a tragedy. Nobody wants to see another iron curtain, including the Russians.

  • As a Brit, I never thought of Poland at the end of the war. I suppose the reason Poland was left to Russia (a betrayal), was because EVERYONE was scared of Russia. They were a hell of a lot more terrifying than the Nazis. They could just throw wave after wave of their people to their deaths in order to swamp an enemy. It was wrong to betray Poland, but I honestly don't know if Britain, the US and the surviving allies could have took it back by force. A huge thank you to Poland. Hard workers

  • we could win the war again with the fighters that our heros flew

  • Damn speeding tickets. I gotta stop listening to this song while I'm driving...

  • 4 russians!

  • I'm a German.

But I'm very proud of the polish pilots, they were heroes!

  • must admit i still play starwars rogue squadrin but not wihtout this epic song it makes the whole game epic

  • Im czech and im proud for what they did in this battle. We will never forget.

  • GASP! I am Polish, Czech, and Canadian! I SHOULD BE A PILOT!

  • All allies won their wars. Too bad that Poland didnt. Oh, thanks for selling us to Stalin. Betreyed on first war days and on the end.

  • @Winch2005 I could not agree with you more and it is funny how even the historians do not illustrate the fact that Polands sovereignty was the reason the allies came into the war but they exited the war with Poland still in chains the only difference was the regime nazi to communist. But it was not politically correct it seems to say the truth. Just as in my country South Africa the truth is also not acceptable in the liberal western so called democracies

  • J am PL!

  • I'm lucky that czechoslovaks could fight...

  • On October 19th, 2011, Brig. Gen. Tadeusz Sawicz, the last one of the 144 Polish pilots fighting in the Battle of Britain, passed away.

  • From the bottom of my heart I send out my thanks to the brave pilots of Poland, Czechoslovakia and Canada who flew to protect my country from the German threat.

  • @gobbitop554 From the bottom of your fat clogged heart ;)

  • @IAmLiamF What??

  • @gobbitop554 not just britain but hole europe

  • Comment removed

  • @gobbitop554 but now, all of it is forgotten...

  • great song about great times ................ and great peoples of course

  • why didn't they tell about the 320th, 321st and the 322nd all, 3 full dutch squadrons. all of them are heroes to our nation all the 5% surviving pilots.

our airforce was obliterated in five days of war with the germans, 95% of our pilots were killed.

but in those five days my heroes took down 350 german planes while our airforce had only 78.

brave pilots, my heroes you will always be remebered. your sacrifise was not for nothing, all of you fought for freedom for that i thank you all!

  • @MrAnonymus1994

we held out 3days not 5 XD :3 and they cant tell about evreything. the highest aces (shot down most germands) were the polish squad 303 they were like the best of the best. and they didnt even march with the other in the (victory march orsumthing after the war) cuz they were afraid to insult stalin :S

  • @darkerthanblackful

not to be rude but it was five days of war, on the fifth day Rotterdam was bombed and we surredered,

still I wished Fokker didn't make aircraft for the germans after we surrendered cause they made good aircraft. but thanks to the germans their reputation got srewed

  • @MrAnonymus1994 Because it was like stopping the tide, it is agreed that if Britain fell that one of the major enemies of the Axis would fall. We were all over Europe and Africa giving the Germans hell while the Dutch worked in Holland to disrupt the Germans and helped in Operation Market Garden.

  • The great 303 squadron ! Heroic Poles(and one Czech) fight for england

  • As a Briton, I happily remember the brave pilots of the RAF, alive or dead, British, Commonwealth or Allied. You all saved the UK in our time of need.

Thank you all. I hope this song is at least something of a memorial to your sacrifice.

  • This song is a most kickass

I from poland and love my land

  • @Awathorn 303 had the most kills, however the 310 were not sent directly into dogfights and were more escorts so obviously they wouldn't have as many killed.

  • Some of the best pilots in the world, in some of the best fighters in the world. No one wonder we won.

  • yeg its tru they was good pilots. but the polsish 303 was the best squadron in the battle of britain :D

  • @lukasz94ify No, no, no. See the best squadron were the No. 603 who were RAuxAF.

  • "In all of history never before was more owed to so few" sends chills down my spine ^^

  • Greetings from the Luftwaffe:

  • hello 303rd and 310 greetings from poles in the uk :)

  • the best pilots in battle of britain - are from 303 squadron , thats the real story and no need to explain , its well known fact , but some historians over the years try to revers the facts ...pls let the real history be true , let the be a peace ! nice movie :-)

  • @wasiuuu1 :Polish squadron with over 100 shot downs. We all know that.

  • @wasiuuu1 in war everyone fights the best they can, there are no `best` squardron / fireteam / divison “War does not determine who is right - only who is left.” bertrand russell

  • @wasiuuu1 But the best pilot in battle of Britain was from this polisch squadron was the czech(oslovakian) pilot Josef František :-)

  • British WW2 veterans are regretting they fought against Hitler

  • Luft waffe (SS) 88

  • @MrVugis 88.

  • This song makes me proud to be Czech!

  • @TheNinjazorz I will explain you the battle of Bir Hakeim : before the batlle, Rommel is unstoppable, El Alamein in empty, there's no real english army... but between El Alamein and El Alamein, there's Bir Hakeim, where 3300 french soldiers keep their position versus 45000 axis soldiers. Bir Hakeim will be left by the FFL of the general Koenig only 16 days after the begin of the battle. Axis lost 3300 soldiers during the battle, and a lot of tanks and planes

  • Best squadron was Polish, but best pilot Czechoslovakian ;)

  • @pkm100 The best one was czech ?? Whats his name ?

  • @PolishWingedHussar10 .. yes ... in 303. ... czech pilot Josef Frantisek 17 kills but he died during landing.. big mystery... 8.10. 1940

  • @glum23 O thnx. By the way is it true that after the end of hostilities all the czech pilots from 310 squadron came back to the communist held homeland and almost all of them were murdered by the soviet NKVD ??

  • @PolishWingedHussar10 I know nothing about an NKVD issue ... just commies made live for pilots wors in prisons etc. .. of course... they feared fearless warriors...

  • now, I'm waiting for a song about Bir Hakeim battle, the one which change the war in north-Africa...

  • @mat290596 Wasn't it "The Second Battle of El Alamein" that defined the outcome of the North-African war?

  • It's actually "few" not "you. Check the Sabaton site...

  • It's too bad Sabaton doesn't make a music video of this song, it's one of their best. It would probably cost way too much to get all those old plains up in the air. or to CG them. this video is freakin' epic! way to go bro!

  • It's too bad Sabaton doesn't make a music video of this song, it's one of their best. It would probably cost way too much to get all those old plains up in the air. or to CG them. this video is freakin' epic! way to go bro!

  • Hard to decide, Aces high by Iron maiden or this?

  • @f14fan1243 both are good, AH is more melodic, but AIE is more in melody of those times and talk about it in better way.

  • @f14fan1243 It's funny you mention that, I just came here from the Iron Maiden video. Both are different and excellent.

  • @grobo11 sabaton is swedish ok so it doesnt matter

  • do not forget the Poles. They also did a lot for the Great Bryani!!!

  • @martysek.. actually a czech pilot [ sgt. josef frantisek] WAS a top scoring ace in the battle of britain but he was one of the few non-polish pilots in the 303 squadron...i don't want to get personal about which country [other than u.k.] serving in the r.a.f. had the best pilots because that is a negative take on the collective input which all have contributed...303 squadron had the most claimed kills in the b.o.b., [despite being 2 months late in joining] and was 4th with 'verified' kills.

  • Sabaton - Aces in Exile

  • Pamiętajcie o Polakach !

  • Eastern european countries (and central) should remember how we were treated during ww2 and be more united

  • this is the song i will be listening to first when playing IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover

  • People forget that this was the battle that gave time to the US to build their army up and help Britain with not just supplies but Men and Armor. If the British did not stand and fight, Europe would have been lost to Germany and America probably would have lost.

  • @AfroGangsta10 Um during the battle of berlin the US was still technically neutral, and making bank off of selling/trading supplies to Britain Russia China and other allied nations. While the American's did sign in an act that would allow American soldiers to join foreign armies without losing their citizenship they werent officially apart of the conflict until after D-day when hitler himself declared war on america. VIA radio and other means of communication.

  • @Moncrith Actually no with all respect, but Hitler said it himself BEFORE D-Day, "that we have already been at war with the west".-HItler. Yes the "Land Lease" I believe? Correct me if I am wrong. America was in the war as soon as Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Before that they were neutral but selling supplies to Allies. America declared war on the Axis and many other countries followed after Like Australia.

  • @AfroGangsta10 Australia followed the US into the war? The US declared war on the axis? My history books tell me that a screw up in the Japanese embassy meant that the Japanese declaration of war on the US was not delivered until after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Whilst the US was figuring out what it should do Germany declared war on the US and Britain on the Japanese. Australia was in the war since 1939. Last on the scene was the US. A follower not a leader.

  • @155383 Uh, US DID declare war on Japan. But Germany and Italy declared war on the US. Czechoslovakia, Cuba , Dominican Republic, and CHINA.(on Germany)

Actually without the US, the allies would have fell. Britain would have been destroyed if it wasn't for the Land Lease. With Britain out of the war, Russia would have fell eventually to the German Blitzkrieg.

US WAS In the war since early 1941. Without Giving MAJOR aid to Britain, China, and Russia. All would have fell. "savior"

  • @155383 This is my second comment.

Don't believe me that Russia wouldn't have won without America? Quote by Joseph Stalin- "Without American production the United Nations could have never won the war".

  • i wonder how war in the sky would be like if we did not have firearms of any kind....but we did have flamers

  • @lordofdarkdudes first of all would be that you had to set yourself infront of the enemy plane and fire to the rear(because firing a flamethrower forwards at that speed would not only be pointless but also self destructive). You also would have to get very close because the fire would stay more or less in the air and could easily be evaded. All in all it would probably be more effective to armor your plane like hell and try to ram your enemy out of the sky instead.

  • @DeHerg or have an open roof and some one with javalins

  • LOL The Netherlands didn't do al ready anything :D. But a great song!

Greatings from the flying dutchman (THE NETHERLANDS!)

  • I've got huge respect for the foreign pilots in the RAF. But to say they fought "for Britain" is bit of a stretch. They fought for their own countries, and Britain gave them the means. If we couldn't or wouldn't, they'd have gone elsewhere.

The great majority of these who flew in the RAF were Brits: again no disrespect to the foreign pilots, but they were a small minority. A small minority whose courage and skill we should be all be thankful for, and whose sacrifice we should honour.

  • @DavidUK84 The margin was very short, without specifically the help from the Polish and Czech fighter pilots Britian would have lost the battle of Britain. Afterall, look at the kill ratio, Polish 303 shot down more planes than any. Czech 311 squadron flied day bombing campaigns over the most heavily defended cities in the reich. Quite simply Britain didnt have the time to train thier own pilots, but Czechs and Poles who already had combat experience filled your ranks.

  • @Al88CZ

That may or may not be so (victory tallies were notoriously over claimed by all sides) but even if it is, it's not the same as saying that the RAF couldn't have managed. All the RAF had to do to "win" was survive to the autumn. And the hubristic German decision to start bombing London helped more than anything with that one.

The RAF day raids over Germany in 1940-41 were mostly a useless waste of life. All honour to those who flew them, but they achieved nothing. See the Butt report.

  • What the fuck is this? Seriously, the battle of Britain was a British victory fought by a large majority of British pilots and most kills were by British pilots yet every twat keeps going on about a few foreign pilots.

Fuck off and praise your country on a song about a battle your own people won.

  • @grobo11 but the foreign pilots destroyed the most german planes.

  • @grobo11 and they risked their lives for a foreign country.

  • @grobo11 I guess Britain would be screwed without foreign pilots, especialy those from Poland

  • @grobo11 LOL, the guy who shot more planes down than any brit was a guy from Polish 303 squadron and he was a Czech. If you took your head out of your ass and were not such a chauvanistic bigotted prick you might know some history. Polish 303 squadron shot down more than any. They were called the few because britain didnt have time to train its own pilots. Polish and Czech pilots already had combat experience in France, RAF didnt.

  • @grobo11 The british goverment needed every hand they could and they had crack pilots like the survivors of 40-1 begging for a chance of revenge so churchil let them they were just a helping hand the vast majority of pilots were british and the majority of kills were by british pilots sabaton still need to do a battle of britain song though

  • Can't wait to see these guys in April. :D

  • Czechoslovak 310. squadron. First foreign squadron. Most famous foreign pilots. Best pilots. I know that, my grandfather fought in that squadron, after communists took control over Czechoslovakia, he moved back into UK and stayed here. Greetings from UK.

  • @Martysek So propably your grandfather had a little non-subjective view. The best one was 303, mostly Poles + one Czech guy ;-)

  • @orys Well, both are heroes. But best RAF pilot comes from 310. squadron :)

  • @Martysek Really ?? !!!!! how was it his name??? Im interesting abou czech pilot in WW II.

  • @Martysek Hey brother, my Grandfather was also in Czechoslovak squadron, 311 Bomber. He too came back to the UK in 48' after communist take over. Greetings from UK also.

I honour all Slavic peoples who took to the skies to defend thier land, people and europe, from the scurge of humanity.

  • @Martysek He moved to UK becouse communists were killing our pilots which fought in WW2 ... Our history is full of blood and its not only WW2. I´m a czech young boy and I dont want to forgive every soldiers and every pilots from WW2 which dies for freedom, safety and victory of course ... And Uk and French treason in WW2 sends dark times to CZ first in 1938 !! Dont forget this people!!

  • @Martysek Sorry but the 303rd was the most successful. It was primarily Polish, but it had some other nationalities in it as well, and the most successful pilot was a Czechoslovak I believe

  • @Martysek Sorry but the 303rd was the most successful. It was primarily Polish, but it had some other nationalities in it as well, and the most successful pilot was a Czechoslovak I believe

  • great song.

nice to be reminded of that sort of thing Poland. Its a shame Operation Unthinkable didn't follow the war to liberate poland from the Soviet Empire under which that bastard stalin split Europe.

  • AI88CZ yes that is true but there were 42,200 nazi soldiers with almost perfect for that years weapons.Over 350 tanks and armoured vehicles and over 650 mortars cannons and granade lounchers.Captain Władysław Raginis has made suicide with granade when he knows that the prisoners will be killed if they will not surrender. Lots of people does not know history and now they are telling shit.

  • Seriously? I know we must appreciate the help but honest to God...The battle of Britain was fought by nearly ALL..get this...BRITISH PEOPLE

  • This is Great. Where did you get the footage?

  • warriors of britain in the battle of brit- of wait no. not even a mention. COME ON!

  • @sabaton1231 the song is called 'aces in exile' it's about the foreign pilots in the battle

  • Greets from the states! those seven Americans who fought for Britain during its darkest hour!

  • Czechoslovakia brothers who fought and died together side by side from Greetings from Slovakia.....

  • watch?v=VrwWakPLKgw < TRUE about Slovakian people! Nazis Puppets!

  • @Buli0n that doesn`t mean all of slovaks was puppets... it was just some of politicians... remember about slovak partizans and slovak people that saved lot of allied soldiers and didn`t give them to nazis...

  • @GuLLiwer1942 amazing story is air activity during uprosing in Slovakia ... inside of Third Reich territory there were our pilots fighting with soviet machines agaist germans attacking from field hold by rebels...

  • it's really shame of czech past, that czech heroes from RAF were jailed by communism regime :(

  • Instant goosebumps when I hear "Fighter Pilots of Canada~~~"

  • @painxxxl I know what you mean I heard about Polish pilot from 303rd squadron that he lives in sewers right now.

  • Greetings from Slovakia (even though I'm in Czech Republic now) :)

  • @akropiss The Poles had the Canadians beat in terms of crazy. Look up a little maneuver performed by Sgt. Karubin of the 303rd. He was chasing a German fighter at tree top level and ran out of ammo, so he flew ABOVE the German aircraft and forced him into the ground.

  • @RedStarWolf I know something equally crazy. An American P-51 pilot saw two incoming Me-262s about to attack his bombers, so he dropped his fuel tanks above them, sending one into his machine gun fire and the other high-tailing it home.

  • @RedStarWolf

where did u read this? ... can u give me link pls ?... i want to know more crazy things about pilots from WW2 .. thx cr8g

  • Saw this song live on Sunday, it was immense!!

  • Beautiful video :)

  • very good video ;)

  • My great-granduncle fought in Britain, He flew in Avro Lancaster, He was czech, I am proud at him ...

  • @rohlykman you should be proud greets to all Czechs who fought in that battle

  • Epic, just epic!

  • Glory to Men´s from czechoslovakia!!!

    Thanks for oure freedom.

    Greatings from czech

  • saddest on it is that if the czechoslovakian pilots was survive then return to his homeland, and then thay was arrested, because communism...

  • Messerschmitt Bf 109B was allways dedly in air but UK Canada and Poland showed that it can be destroyed

  • @HomeMediaProductions 109k was most deadly, Uk aircraft was in advantage, because 109's had small tanks so can fight over sea

  • @HomeMediaProductions pure truth and u r right !

  • @HomeMediaProductions read or see bout polish squadron 303 with most shoot downs in that battle

  • @dannywodniak Polish 303 fighter squadron was the best and most highly scoring allied squadron in battle of britain. They scored 126 confirmed kills, the top allied ace was polish. Poles formed air cover in Dieppe raid in 1942. In many more air battles over france, belgium, holland and germany they distinguished themselves as one of the best fighter pilots of the allies. Dont believe me? Check in wikipidia ''Non-British personnel in the RAF during the Battle of Britain'' Polish contribution

  • @PolishWingedHussar10 If that's the case, why did the Poles get thier asses handed to them when Germany blitzkrieged all over their ass. I dare say they didn't even get their birds up in the air.

  • @cobrachoppergirl Oh well well who we got here is a common example of person with minor education about history(no offence).

I dare say they didnt event get their birds up in the air. Go onto the wikipidia, the free encyclopedia, type down Polish Camaign 1939 and go to the Misconceptions and Myths sections. It will completely change your views about polish defensive war. 80% peoople had never read any artictle about polish campaign, didnt you?

  • @cobrachoppergirl Poles few days before the outbreak of world war II they moved all of their combat planes onto the hidden airfields somewhere on countryside. Yes germans destroyed all the planes they encountered on polish airfields but they were all training and civilian planes. The polish airforce had been almost completely destroyed only after about two weeks, when it became way too weak to put up formidable resistance. Lufftwaffes loses were the 250 planes shot down and 200 seriously damaged

  • @cobrachoppergirl I think you need to read about the battle of Wizna where 720 polish troops held out against 10,000 german troops supported by tanks, artillery and aircraft for 3 days! They took out 10 tanks and took hundreds of Germans out, they never surrended. Poland is a smaller country than Germany, and so has smaller army, also germany had been preparing for war 4 years earlier, also Poland was attacked from East and West by the 2 most aggressive armies, the soviets and Nazis, so .

  • @Al88CZ poland had no chance. it was only the english channel that saved my country britain from the nazi tidal wave over europe.

  • Great video, great song. But I don´t understant why it is mixing Polish, Czechoslovak and Canadian pilots. Context of presence of Canadians was different, their country was not occupied, it was not the same "exile" as in the case of Czechoslovaks and Poles. Of course it is not so important as they were also heroes and deserve the same recognition as their brothers in arms from other countries. I am just interested...

  • @murphys35 I think it's because Canada is almost as rarely given credit for their actions in the world wars as Poland and Czechoslovakia
