I tried it in the Android app, but the link is then openend in the mobile browser, redirected to youtube's mobile page which then says: this video has restricetd content.

Did you set up some regional settings? Are such streams for some reason blocked in Germany?

No, not on purpose. And I have specifically allowed viewing on mobile devices.

It might have something to do with advertisement setup, as in, the video doesn't exist yet, but it has already been claimed for advertising. The German ISPs might run into problems with that.  This is completely speculation.
