Charleston, SC had a "neo-soul" station that played REAL hip-hop and lots of neo soul. I had never heard of Leela James before then, and havent heard her on any other rotation except once in a while on Michael Baisden. I hate to soapbox, but if parents paid more attention to what their kids listened to, there wouldnt be so many one hit blunders and real artist will finally get the respect they deserve.
