  • very nice!!!

  • this whole cd was even tho there wasnt a song in english i didnt understand i learned it anyway

  • shes my half cousin 0_o.

  • she smells nice

  • This song rocks~

  • vete a la mierda, jamas dice shlt on the radio! waste time!!!

  • the beat always reminded me of cry me a river by JT

this song must be over 10 years old but still as timeless as the first time I heard it, nelly is dope asshell

  • I remember when I first listened to this song when it came out and I was so young I had no idea what "s**t" even meant! lol.

  • I wanna got to Canada... This may sound silly but I relate this song and the first songs of this artist to that big and beautiful country called Canada. I've never been to there but I love you, Canada! Je t'aime.

  • @bajoespacio Aw, thank you! It's great to hear that someone wants to visit my country so much! It's a beautiful country. <3 <3

  • I wanna got o Canada... This may sound silly but I relate this song and the first songs of this artist to that big and beautiful country called Canada. I've never been to there but I love you, Canada! Je t'aime.

  • the reggae remix to this is the best ever ;)

  • @Ck1299 wow youre ignorant. She wrote this song about her friends who were underground artists who began to judge her because she wanted to do pop music. This is evident in the line "but now I'm just too mainstream for you? oh no" Apparently ppl like you need to listen to this song more carefully.

And I hate basketball. I am however, a huge soccer fan.

  • she's absolutely beautiful and i love her voice...even if my homeboys think im a queer for listening to this.

  • It's so much easier to stay down there guaranteeing you're cool

Than to sit up here exposing myself trying to break through

Than to burn in the spotlight, (open fire) turn in the spitfire (open fire)

Scream without making a sound,(open fire!)

be up here and not look down (open fire!!)

because we're all afraid of heights *This woman is super hawsome*

  • Good song ; )

    But where are the lyrics?

  • 1:32 - 1:36 it sounds like she's saying, its time to poo

  • @00DAN11 it sounds NOTHING like that LOL

  • Her best album IMHO!

  • <3

  • Has anybody heard the reggae mix of this? I can't find it anywhere. . .

  • This song is unbelievable.

I remember Nellys popular songs, and some weeks ago I heard some unfamiliar songs.

And they are ALL just as beautifull as every other.

    Nelly is amazing!

I wish I could understand that language :/

  • OMG! extraño las antiguas canciones de nelly furtado.Ahora su musica a cambiado tanto que hasta perdí el gusto por sus canciones =_=.

  • DAMNNN this song really bring me back!! lol those were the days!! jajajaja

  • Before Nelly decided to promote promiscuity. This and Folklore is the true Nelly Furtado. I liked Loose, but there were only a few songs on there that had the feeling of Nelly trying to go back to good music. I mean, there is nothing wrong with an artist changing it up here and there, but I felt like it wasn't time for her to give up giving us these dope ass lyrics to a trip-hop beat.

  • think of an artist that has ALWAYS remained the same, same style, same music, same beat? NO ONE. and if there's one, is probably NOT making any money, music is business too and in order to get money, you will have to change your style every once in a while, so, yes her music was great and yes maybe its not that great anymore but she still a great artist and thats what counts :)

  • @rockstardiaries yah but there is a difference between changing into a new style and just doing whatever everyone else is doing. She's even doing auto-tune these days. What a hustler.

  • @rockstardiaries Actually a lot of heavy metal bands stay the same and some of them are able to obtain a steady cash flow generated from ticket sales and record sales. Granted it's not going to make rather wealthy, but enough for a decent life.

An example of this could be Vader or Nile.

  • @rockstardiaries No, she isn't. That's the problem. Nelly didn't just change, she went mainstream. She sucked out everything that was great and unique about her music. I miss Nelly Furtado.

  • This albums sold millions of copies and was all over the radio..... making money and being successful is not being a sellout.

  • nelly furtado eres la mejor

  • wow still zero thumbs down... -_-

    Unreal song!!!

  • wow still zero thumbs down... -_-

    Sh.it on the Radio!!!

  • didn't know there was a shit in front of the title..

  • No one ever believes me when I tell them old Nelly had some awesome poetry and great music to go along with it. I still love her. But Whoa Nelly! takes the cake. It was a soundtrack to a part of my life that I cant forget. Good music finds you.

  • sucks she turned out to be a sell out this was a great cd the whole cd kicks ass but..........

  • I just love how she writes her own songs. She even changed up her style - in favor of r&b, hip hop music and she's still writing her own shit. I've noticed other pop artists try to do what she did and don't succeed or write their own stuff because it's a different writing style. Nelly is a true artist.

  • where are the lyrics you lying f*****?!!!!

  • @pdezign in the description...

  • @pdezign lmao i kno! like every vid says "w/ lyrics" but there never are any

  • @pdezign pick for more imformation !!!

  • @pdezign in the information !!!!

  • genius!

  • This song and cd is a CLASSIC!

  • Classic song!

  • lol shit

  • I love this song. <33

  • she sounds funny lol

    i love this song..

  • juanes se la cogió, él me lo dijo...

  • @Pelonxaz pudo haber estado exagerando para impresionarte

  • awesome song.. love it

  • very well said!

  • This song was the beginning of her decline back the. I don't remember every hearing another song from her after this one (until Maneater) because this song was poorly received.

  • Ha! I remember recording this song on cassette after I heard t on the radio. I don't know why I just thought about it, but it brings back such memoriies!

  • I heard THIS on the radio after 6-7 years..Blast from the past man.. This song is good

  • yes she dose it is shit

  • and now she sings shit...

  • Ironically she did eventually sell out.

  • @ManUscripted87 What's even funnier, is that this song is about selling-out.

    :)

    And you didn't even know.

"You liked me til you heard my shit on the radio?"

  • @ManUscripted87 Ironically you didn't listen to the words she's singing about her ex-boyfriend!

  • @ManUscripted87

    How did she sell out?

  • @lilcynic54 I think they mean when she started working with Timbaland. That album Loose was a big hit like she knew it would be, but at a price. The music was fun, but it was meaningless compared to her earlier work.

  • @ManUscripted87 obviously you failed to understand the message of the song

  • @ManUscripted87 If you're an artist/musician, you can't just create the same things over and over again. I highly doubt she sold out. She's a person who keeps learning and growing. She's just going through different phases in her life and experimenting with different genres and working/collaborating with different people. Is she not allowed to do that?

  • @ManUscripted87

that just how you look at it

I liked her more in this era than the the timbaland era from like 2005

but every artist evolves him or herself and has to ade-t tosome certain sound tostay relevant nowadays .. sadly enough

  • thanx

  • great record

  • can someone explain wat this song is even about???

  • These lyrics are major crossover in that they can be felt and understood by everyone on the face of this 'just about God-forsaken' earth...and that's really a crime...Those who identify...shout out...and loud!!!

  • Love Nelly and her songs!

  • i am punkrocker and listen all day long to anarcho punk and hardcore....but i love this!

one of the best songs ever heard!

it reminds me in good old times!

    i could cryyy

  • @phukdeebiatch i'm a punkrocker tooooooooooooooo

and i do the same thing jajajajaja

    greetings from México ! :)

  • @phukdeebiatch faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag lol
