@BlueDinkyShredder this is from youthanasia. The whole album is a half step down except for the remastered version. Dave sped up a few songs here and there.

@hekza33 I changed some positions to make things more comfortable to play. There isn't any particular tab that I used. I have the book and have looked at some online, but I mostly came up with some of the changes on my own.

I know there's a million different ways to critique stuff like this - tone, vibrato, picking technique, attitude, and just plain overall touch on the instrument. To me, the two most important should be intent and execution. Obviously, you had the intent of covering both solos as closely to the originals as possible, which I commend you for. And as far as execution goes, I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between your playing and either Marty's or Dave's on the album. A+ job, dude!

I have most of the megadeth tab books but there's some printing mistakes or i'll move some notes and phrases around to make them more comfortable for me to play. I can figure out stuff by ear as well but It's not always as accurate as i'd like it to be.

Yes, i've seen them live 4 times over the years. My favorite album depends on the mood that i'm in. If i want fast i'll listen to R.I.P. or peace sells. I do like Youthanasia a lot cause it's heavy and dark. I can play mary jane, the harmonics in the verse are pretty cool
