i have a 9600gt at home and my new pc parts are coming tomorrow. (intel i5 750 processor, p55 mobo, 8gigs ddr3 GEIL mmemory. And i run this game at 1440x900. can someone please tell me if i should at least get a maximum of 40fps or not. i would appriciate it.
this is nearly the exact spec rig I'm about to build, apart from i might use DDR3 on a suitable mobo. Thanks for the review, you boosted my faith in the e8400 CPU and 9600GT GPU even more, I'm sure i'm buying the right stuff now. Cheers m8
It works very fine. Excellent response time,no ghosts nor dead pixels and a very good contrast rate. I can say that it's the best lcd that I ever had.
hey i hope u guys will help cuase im a total noob LOL
anwyays i found two graphics cards i like lol theres one thats "SAPPHIRE HD 4670 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E" & then theres "GeForce™ 9600GT Super 1GB" & i dont know which one is stronger cause i wanna pay games like COD4 & % & other high graphical games at maxed out settings on 16000 by 1200 resolution or lower. so yeah i hope someone would help me. thanks in advance =)
I cannot talk about the Radeon 'cos I don't know this model, but 9600GT doesn't support with decent framerates 1600x1200, your better choice it's a Radeon 4870, GeForce 9800GTx or GF GTX 260.
According with the MSI site, there are a range of products that use the same chipset as yours, Intel 915. Can you find some kind of model specified such as 915GLM-V or 915GVM-V,etc...? Does it have an onboard video?
Hehehe, don't worry! If it's your case open, try to look on your board to see the model, but if it's still sealed, download a software named Everest Home Edition 2.20 and you can check the model (you easily find it at Softpedia).
It's an E8400 3.00Ghz. Enter the bios set up of your mobo and look for the option memory remap and put ON that your system will recognize 3GB. Only 64 bit systems will recognize and use the 4gb or more,it's a limitation of all 32 bits OS.

@DPapera Can i run this game?
Nvidia 9600GT
AMD phenom II X2 550 3.1Ghz
2gb ram (gonna upgrade to 6gb soon)
i heard mix stuff, some said low, some said medium, very few said high. What do you think?
AkosDavidViktor 1 year ago
@AkosDavidViktor from 4 to 6 gb is a waste of money.
you won't see any diffrance 4 is the max you should consider
games will not use 6 gb of ram you will have smooth gameplay with 4
