after about 10 hours of walk..we went to take the metro and when we went down we looked at the map but the station we were at wasn't marked on the map...so we had to run back up check what station it is and run down again...well pedro always wanted to take cabs etc so ask him why he hates the metro. Maybe cause it's just hard to figure out. Oh and then there were those drunk guys lol
I was actually there back in 2006. Yeah, you look very tired- that's one of the effects of traveling. The lighting was beautiful, I was there during the day so I didn't get to see Notre Dame like that. Thanks for making the video, I hope your trip is going well, it looks like your having a lot of fun!
Your trip looks like alot of fun. I am happy to know that meeting people through YOUTUBE is very possible. Like yourself, i am going to meet someone in Bulgaria that i met through Youtube this summer while on vacation there.....
btw if your husband is around tell him to come to msn for a sec i wanna transfer the interview file to him (-: as im too lazy to send anything per attachement
The snake. He is the vessel that takes the prince home, but is seen as the villain that ends the book. I love false pretense, so he is my favorite. Either that snake or the frustrated light keeper, or the drunk, or the Baobab Trees, or the other snake, the one that ate an elephant. I think I like the two snakes best. Have you met Ikus?
Very cool! Or I mean, très cool! =p I've been to Paris a couple times but never saw Notre Dame! I really should go back, it looks beautiful. Haha, I had to read Le Petit Prince for French class. Your French sounds pretty good. I really should practice mine! Can't wait to see footage from the rest of your trip!
That was funny how you were talking about how terrible the Metro was and smiling :) Your french is pretty good btw, I couldn't hear any German accent.
well im not german (-: still...so a german accent would be out of place. My french sucks and after a flight and 5 hours of walk, it was even worse than it normally is. (-: but hey whatever... I was the GPS girl on the trip while ppuerj had to deal with maps and ask people. He always wanted to go by taxi and I always wanted to walk or take the metro
Right, I couldn't hear any Georgian accent either :) I'm glad you were able to convince ppuerj to walk or take the metro! Better to get a sense of where things are and interact with some people. Although 5 hrs of walking does sound like a lot.
(-: it was more like 5 hours the first day but 10-11 the next 2 days...well compared to the metro in rome paris metro is paradise (-:P so there's nothing to complain about but for pedro it was an absolute torture. He just wanted to take cabs all the time
It's true, the metro in Rome is just the 2 lines I think. Paris you can walk in any direction and encounter a station in a few minutes. Once I saw a guy riding the metro with a cat on his shoulder.
OHHHHHHHHHH la Nôtre Dame!!! The most beautiful cathedral ever!! It's the perfect scenary for a horror tale, and it's better at night!!! oh, Poet raise thy head, and lu!!
Here in Japan everybody seems to know about "Le Petit Prince" but when I go back to the United States it seems like the story is not as well known there.
i've read the little prince in georgian, then german, french and english (-: so I've read it at least four times, so now I pretty much know it of by heart
it was freezing but compared to Prague it was warmer so I didn't freeze that much (part of it coz of a very cozy coat)...we walked for about 10-12 hours every day sooo we didn't turn itno gargoyles
What a wonderful treat this video was sharing these beautiful sights with us!
Thank you!
