I know this video is a year old, but what do they fix when you get a RROD? My 360 got the RROD recently, i haven't sent it in since 2007, around the time of the new heatsink...does the heat sink really work? Did they FINALLY fix the stupid overheating problem??
Well to tell you the truth so far that is how long it takes. Those 8 days of shipping Microsoft can't really help because that is handled by the shipper. But for them to fix it in two days sounds pretty good.
i was listening to how you messed up your gamertag, i know that this is an old video but if you didn't know, you can go to edit profile, and you can change your gamertag for 800 microsoft points, it should be under gamertag i think lol, its been a while because my xbox is shipped off for repairs right now lol

Heat sink its the cooler for the cpu. Typically the main reason xbox 360s break down because the cpu overheats. Heatsinks use thermal paste and cooling fans with head pipes to remove heat.
I dunno I am working with advocate, BBB and Consumer Protection and I think I'm on my 7th or 8th shipment since November 27. It's rediculous. All returned 360's with the 3 red lights will come back with the Opus Board. 65NM CPU and 90NM GPU. Opus board is for 360's without HDMI the Falcon board is for 360's with the HDMI Port.

while I am not a expert cuz I have only had one 360 fixed. they fixed my 360 in a matter of hours. it was the shipping by fedex that took forever! it was a total of a little over 2 weeks.

I don't know what I was thinking expecting Microsoft to release a product that works!!!!!
I bought the last 2 Playstations (And a PSP) and had years of use with no trouble, I don't know why I decided to change my habits.....
Problem is, I have like 35 Games, So I'm not about to "Start my collection over" by buying a PS3....
Looks like I might have to crack into my old PS2 collection!

I asked them too send me a shipping label which took 16 hours! which is very good.
I sent it off 2 days later and it has been 2 days since then and today i got a email that they have recieved my xbox today.
So now i am just waiting i wonder how long it will take.

All returned 360's with the 3 red lights will come back with the Opus Board. 65NM CPU and 90NM GPU. Opus board is for 360's without HDMI the Falcon board is for 360's with the HDMI Port.

yeah i just search it yesterday and it say that the new heatsink reduce the amount of heat out of the 360. and u can look at ur bottom of ur 360. if u dont see the harddrive through the bottom u got the heatsink. i look at mine and i saw the new heatsink. but i still believe that my 360 will get the RRoD cuz it still overheat. so i have these 3 cooler to cool my 360. thank 4 the advise.

hey my 360 broke but i have one year for the microsoft warenty but i have one month left for my best buy warenty yes i have two i bought my 360 back before microsoft extended their warenty. I hear somethimes best buy will replace you 360 what should i do i hear microsoft is somethimes cheap.

Just wanted to say I still have my original Xbox360 from release date about 3 years ago. I installed a fan soon after purchase and my room temp is always cool. All of my buddies had the red lights. Maybe i'm lucky or by keeping it cool for 3 years helped. I'm thinking of buying a newer one later.

I had mine since 2006 and it just now took a shit on me around 3 weeks ago i keep trying the towel trick but i still get the rings after about 3 hours of play. I dont have a warranty but i just called Microsoft and they will fix it for free so i was like thats awesome

while I am not a expert cuz I have only had one 360 fixed. they fixed my 360 in a matter of hours. it was the shipping by fedex that took forever! it was a total of a little over 2 weeks.
