They're firing their staff left and right, even Anne State ain't there anymore and they cancelled their weekend morning newscasts and I prefer the old studio because they're trying too hard with the new one.
I think they should anchor from the newsroom again...no desk. get rid of a lot of the fluff & graphics. It'll show people that they're to give them the news....not glitzy graphics & artistic symbolic camera angles.
Yes.. When they changed to the current logo later in 2002, they never got new decals for the cameras with the new logo. The logo decals were originally in color. They tried to peel off the stickers but all they could peel off were the top layer of the sticker with the blue color, leaving behind the bottom layer of the decal with the black and gray colors stuck to the cameras. They just figured nobody would see or notice them so they were just left on the cameras all the way up to the end.
Brilliant Collage!! A Brilliant 6!! WBBM Channel 2 in Chicago did an excellent presentation on how news reports have changed since 1976 ... all in the video. Impressive!! Any Questions? Long Live Gene Siskel!!
Mr. Pegasus, at 45 seconds, was played by John Coughlin.

1:17 Look very closely on that camera to your upper left corner. There is the CBS2 Works For You logo that was used back in 2002.

I never thought they would use their iconic 1975 news theme in that news piece.
